Very interesting. I have an HP laptop I am interested in upgrading. This just might work. BTW I just checked the B&H site and the drive is now down to $179.
Thanks for sharing this.

The Olympus OMD EM1 M2 will take up to 999 shots and create a jpeg of the results and save all of the RAW files as well.

As well as the OMD E-MI-MK III
I do a lot of MACRO - flower shots and love the in camera photo stacking. I save all the RAW files and view the jpg one to see what it looks like. Keep in mind the in-camera jpg that is created is cropped a bit when it is created.
Other than that, I really love the photo stacking feature.
And with the 5 stabilization features of the Olympus, if you have enough light, you can even photo stack hand held.

A photo is a piece of art, just like a painting, just a different form. With that, think like an artist. Look at the emotion of the image and name it accordingly. No artist would name a painting with the date in the title. When you enter photos in a contest you give a title to the image. I doubt you would include the date as part of the title. Again, look for the emotion in the image.

Go out to google, find Photo Pills and read their tutorial on shooting the Milky Way. Download their app on your phone $9.99, and that's all you need.

Color - and yes delete the sailboat. You might work on the sky - it is real close to the mountains.

I beg your pardon. The Olympus OMD-E-M1-MKIII Mirroless has live histogram both in the Live View and EV.

Try Smart Photo Editor; Just $29.95 and has tons of processing and presets (free). Mike Moats - famous macro photographer uses it. If it's good enough for Mikey - it's good enough for me.

Go with PhotoPills - a lot cheaper and works great. Has tons of FREE tutorials, text or video. I have TPE but never use it. PhotoPills is so much easier to use and understand. You can't go wrong for $10.00

I'm glad you posted this. I have been using Acronis for some time now. My computer guys recommended it. I strictly use it to back up my C drive operating system. I did receive an email from Acronis to try the beta version. Now I'm glad I didn't take them up on it.

You must have a camera with a much higher dynamic range than most, if I understand your reply. I think your saying you can do this with one exposure. Boy that's great. What brand of camera do you have?
I'm shooting with an Olympus Mk III and it is one of the best cameras on the market and if the dynamic range of my shot is more than the camera is capable of capturing I use exposure bracketing to get the right exposure.

very nice collection of flowers. I always like photographing flowers. For my taste most of these shots look over saturated. Just my opinion.

Why do you think all the professional photographers switched from trying to sell prints to writing books, publishing ebooks and making instructional tutorials along with doing workshops. People just don't buy prints anymore since the explosion of digital camera. They can take their own photo and get it printed and framed. It isn't because your stuff isn't any good, I'm sure it is. I have talked to professional wedding photographers. They have taken a hit in business because every mother, friend or neighbor has gotten a digital camera and are advertising as wedding photographers. I have attended may weekend craft shows, farmers markets and seen a lot of 10 x 10 tents with lots of photographers trying to sell their stuff. And I don't see a lot of people buying stuff. Talk to Mike Moats, a professional macro photographer. He use to set up at lots of craft shows, 10 x 10 tent the whole nine yards, framed, unframed, etc. He gave that up years ago. Just not worth the trouble and expense. Very low return rate. Offering framed prints is definitely not the way to go, regardless of the quality of the frame. Your choice of frame may not match the buyers taste or decor. You're wasting your time and money offering framed images. If you're going to go this route, go with a simple mat and standard size prints that people can buy standard size frames. Just my 2 Cents.
