Love the photos and the dialogue ð
My Father-in-Law was a Captain earning both a Purple Heart & a Bronze Star serving in the 45th infantry in WWII. He shared B&W photos with me of the concentration camp that he and his men liberated. The photos should have been preserved for the Holocaust Museum, but, sadly, he destroyed them for the awful memories they caused. My Uncle was also shot down and lost flying for the RAF. I thank all of you who have served, are serving and will serve this Country with honor and dignity to make it a safe place for me and my loved ones. God bless each and every one of you and keep you safe.
I really think you caught this perfectly. The reflection, the black background and the emphasis on the white rose make the image pop for me. Well done.
I have been watching a large Osprey nest atop a telephone pole near my home and stop frequently to see what activity I might catch with my camera. The birds can be seen with just their heads popping out or perching on nearby branches. However, yesterday, as I stealthily approached, the male flew out and and started screaming at me. He made several passes over my head and then flew straight at me. I did not get a shot of his third warning as by then I was in a full run for the car. ð
Do not apologize for too many pics when they are as much fun as these to view. ð

Seem these guys like to hang out at Mount Rushmore during the winter.
They also hang out there in the fall...

Nice work, fotofinish! But Ansel might rise up in wrath at the idea of twisting his aspens!
I am not certain why Ansel would rise up in wrath, Richard, the photo of the Aspens I used to twist was one I took myself last fall in the Maroon Bells of Aspen, CO. But to ever be mistaken for Ansel is a giant compliment, so thank you.
Simply gorgeous...not certain I have ever seen honeysuckle before...thanks for sharing.
Great catch! I grew up in your neck of the woods, but never saw a coyote. Living in CO, I often go sleep hearing them howl at night, and witness them hunting field mice during the day. However, I have yet to capture a set as fine as this with my camera. Nice going.ð

I enjoy many kinds of trees in this area, I would like to see yours, too. I also enjoy using special effects on them.
Trees are amazing to photograph because they are all so different. Thanks to Simon, now they are even more fun with post processing. Thank you photophile for hosting this challenge. ð

Very well taken, I really enjoy the color and drama of the one with the boat.
Thank you Sippyjug....honestly, I ran from the dinner table to acquire that photo because it was one of the most breathtaking sunsets I had ever witnessed. My cold fish entree was well worth it. ð
Thanks for posting this challenge. I discovered that I photograph sunsets on vacation, but seldom at home...I may try to remedy that.
