Looks like a nice place - public?

No, private and posted. I did trespass by about 15 feet when shooting the whole pond image.

Heading to the produce store I spotted this pond off the side of the road.

Just came across this blurb:

The comments are all atwitter with runaway puns.

Again, for mature readers only.

Almost put this in "Street Photography".

I'm surprised this never happened to me in my youth. Lady in question lived toward the end of a long curvy and hilly road. The good old days.

Nantucket has approved topless beaches - public and private. That might increase tourism. One problem Nantucket and Martha's Vinyard have is housing, both permanent and seasonal. Stores have trouble hiring people because of the housing problem. If they live on the island, that's okay, but many seasonal workers arrive from elsewhere and find there's no housing available.

I didn't know there was no topless beach on Nantucket. I remember once walking on a beach near Truro on Cape Cod with my then 5 year old son and ventured onto a nude beach. My son looked at a topless woman and the woman admonished him for staring she looked her in the eye and said " Lady if you didn't want anyone looking you would have covered them up." I cracked up laughing and then the woman started laughing. 20 years later and the kid still has a smart mouth.

I used to hate the self checkout in supermarket. I think they went cheap on me in services but I started to see the good with them. Yesterday I went to McDonald's and the total was $7.23. I have only a $10 bill, a couple of Quarters and some pennies. So I gave the cashier $10 bill, one quater and 3 pennies. I told him that's $10.28 and he should enter in the register as such. He paused and even if he enter the amount and finally hesistantly gave me $3 in change (which correctly should be $3.05).
I often have problem with the cashiers who don't know what to do when I gave them more money than absolutely needed. The self checkout machine has no problem with that.

It worries me that the people behind the register "not all are kids" aren't able to make the correct change when we do this.

Where is the Philadelphia National Cemetary?

Haines and Limekiln in West Oak Lane. You would be closer to Washington Crossing National Cemetery off 532.

As we commemorate Memorial Day we remember those who without regard to self put themselves in harms way to defend the Republic.
From the battlefields of Brandywine, Tripoli, Gettysburg, Havana, The Ardenne, Normandy, Chosin Reservoir, Khe Sanh, Mogadishu, Kabul,
The Ramadan Offensive and every battle and war in-between. We give you our thanks and respect and even though we do not know all your names
we will memoralize you always. As I posted the other day this is not a "Happy" day and I haven't come up with a suitable replacement
word, it is a day of thanks for those who have given their all and the families they left behind.

The below are from The Philadelphia National Cemetery.
