I certainly agree with everything you said. Something tells me you didn't use some automatic type weapon to mow them down. That was my only point in this type of string. Sorry to hear about your copperhead snake bite.

I have no use for an automatic rifle and I don’t have the cost for permits and the weapon. Someone here can probably tell us how much it would cost. I have heard that it would cost from $30,000 to $50,000 to be legal.

I would like to know just how much it would cost, just out of curiosity. If it were full auto, it would cost about $20 to $50 to pull the trigger once.

No I haven't. It's not the 1800's where I have to go off and shoot an animal to survive. Just not in to k*****g things. any form of life.

And your comment about an over intrusive government? So, you think you need a gun so you will be able to "protect" yourself if the government comes after you? Good luck!

I do not hunt for sport but I don’t like coyotes k*****g young calves or horses. I will shoot them instead of letting them k**l my livestock.

I don’t like wild hogs tearing up my pastures because it starves the livestock. I will shoot wild hogs.

About 2 weeks ago I got bit by a copperhead. I had to spend the night in the hospital. That snake bite cost me about $2800 not to mention the pain. Before I went to the hospital I k**led the snake.

No sport!

Beto wants the government to buy back guns he doesn’t like. He says people will voluntarily comply with the law. I have a couple of questions:

How can the government “buy back” when they didn’t sell it initially?

I have a feeling that there are people who will not “sell back” their guns.

Beto says people will follow the law. If that is the case, why don’t we make murder against the law. It would certainly be cheaper and more popular. I don’t know anyone who is in favor of legalizing murder.

Beto is against military weapons in the hands of civilians. When I was in the service, the M16, which looks very much like an AR15, was the most advanced personal rifle of the military but it was full auto. Prior to that, we carried the M14 which had a se*****r that made it full auto. Some carried a M60 which was full auto. Some carried a shot gun. Shot guns are easy to get but full auto service rifles are very difficult to get and the proper license is quite expensive.

Some carried a pistol which are relatively easy to buy and are semiautomatic.

You might be corrrct. Hillary might be either stupid or a crook. Surely her Russian dirt on Trump could not have failed. The wiretap, the Mueller investigation and the Democratic shutdown could not save her bid. The Steele dossier, the collusion investigation and the FBI investigation Struck out or should I say all of the charges petered out.

Maybe the v**ers wanted the lesser of two evils.

I think that a lot of people are being too hard on Hillary.

She obviously didn’t know that classified material was to be kept on classified equipment.

She didn’t know that the e*******l college existed and that is how we elect our president.

She didn’t know that she should not sell nuclear material to a foreign rival in exchange for being paid $500,000 for a half hour speech.

It seems as though Hillary got some bad advice.

Maybe President Trump had better coaching.

Emotions ran very high at that time. I believe the emotions were justified. Many of the actions definitely were not. Many thought of soldiers the way some right to lifers think of anyone involved in a******n in any way. Both were/are wrong, in my opinion.

So you badmouth the President because he didn’t go and you badmouth me because my country called and I went. That makes no sense!

As a 73 yr old ex-grunt, I assure you that those WERE NOT glory days.

I spent 13 months just a few clicks from the DMZ. We were engaged almost every day and we never heard movie music warning us of an attack or ambush. I guess the glory days in the movies were not the days in combat.

If a person thinks those combat days were glory days, he should rethink his vocabulary.

Frank has been watching too many movies. He may not even know how we were spat on when we came back to the world. A friend of mine arrived in Chiraq, walked into the terminal and had some hippie girl rub a handful of dog poop in his chest. Yes those were the “glory days.” Frank has been watching too many movies. He obviously doesn’t know what in the hell he is talking about. He must be excused though because he obviously just has diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain.

I am reading everyone’s thoughts on gun control and/or shooter control but I haven’t read anything about the Second Amendment to our Constitution. That hurdle must be cleared or our right to own a gun/guns will be guaranteed. That pesky Constitution seems to often get in our way.

In case you haven’t noticed, Hilary has never been President. She never used the Office of the Presidency to get dirt on a political rival by withholding congressional approved funds from a foreign nation. It’s ok for neither, but what you suggest is a false equivalency.

How is this a false equivalency? Please tell me where I changed the topic. Are you claiming Trump asked for information on Joe Biden, H****r B***n. It has come out that another p**********l canadate did what you accuse President trump of doing. You accuse our president without any substantive evidence. You let the other candidate off even though she made classified material readily available and then paid them millions for use of a Russian unfavorable report.

You must be kidding when you say equal protection under the law. I guess some parties are more equal than others.
