Gardeners, biologists, and farmers will get this. Isn't it amazing what an infinitely varying impact nematodes can have on root vegetables especially carrots?

Yes, it was the inspiration for the front of an expensive car.... complete with grill, medallions center of the hood and those bulging headlights. I and always wondered where the auto designers got their creative ideas. Yep, direct from nature. Even the old Caddie Tail fins direct from sharks

I agree with Dennis
Fast and Wide angle. Long or than 200 seems to be too narrow field of view.

More than likely, removing the SD card from the camera and using a card reader will far outperform a cable. In either case, using MS Windows 10 or 7 thecamera or SD card will appear as an external hard drive, no?

What computer do you have, and does it have an SD card reader?

Welcome to UHH! I split time between Seattle and Wallace, ID. Still figuring out where to retire in 2022. Probably Wallace. Wish I could pack it in now and tour the country by small Motor Home and bicycle, camera at the ready. Please share some of your photos.

I am amazed how many Ugly Hegehogs are so prickly and have no sense of humor.
The question is, were you born this way, ( there might be a new drug for this) or did you somewhere, somehow lose it.
It must be hard going through life so angry and humorless.

Good luck and God Bless.

I'm with redlegfrog.

Really nicely composed and executed. I'd be proud to hang prints of any of them on my wall.

Where, more specifically, was the last picture captured?

I remember spending two days in Kadoka, SD in March of 1975 as a result of a late, late winter blizzard closing I-90. Snow in May? Not something I'd relish.

Foto #3 is to me, very interesting and well done. It is as if I happened on the deer, not the photographer.

Really nice series. What is โ€œOil Rapeโ€? Name of flowers? Doesnโ€™t sound very nice.

In US it is best known as canola oil. Lots grown on the Palouse.

I was in Moscow Idaho that morning ~300 Air miles away. Radio informed us of the eruption. By 9am we could see the ash cloud on its way. We left for Wallace ID at 10 am. By 12:30 and 15 miles from Wallace the ash reached us and was falling. Silence for the next two days ,until it rained.

I still see ash near Moses Lake on my cross state travels. I am amazed how things recovered around St Helens, it is a beautiful place to visit and a reminder of how tiny we are in the universe.
