Wow, what a terrific shot! One of the best I have seen of an egret.
Lighting and composition very nice.

Interesting set of images and well done. New Hope is a fun place to visit but all it takes is a nice sunny day and the place is packed. Los of activity and a great place for people watching. I lived about ten minutes away in Solebury.
Thanks for posting and I look forward to seeing more of your photos from New Hope.

Good captures and like the action shots…perfect timing. I’m sure the dogs owners appreciate the photos.

Purdue Engineering claims that a film size of 9" x 9" would need a digital image size per frame of 432 mega-pixels. Now that is resolution. How can 35mm full frame digitals compete with that?---ew

Who cares? Not even practical! This whole posting is a total waste of time…gives me a headache. You must be pretty bored with too much time on your hands.

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned a spare battery....
My camera battery charger and the spare battery both live in my camera bag.
I hadn't used my camera for probably 4 or 5 weeks, and when I put it away the battery in the camera had already been well used. After a day or so of shooting, it was drained. Replaced it with the spare, and happily carried on, even after that spare had been in my camera bag for so many weeks.

The OP said he carries several additional camera batteries. The problem is charging them upon depletion.

Ya gotta give the little buggers credit! They are resourceful and will figure out how to outsmart you and get to the feeders.

Which do you like ? Color or B&w

The decision to produce color or b&w images is totally yours. You are the photographer and it is YOUR work. You should present it as you wish.

Great shots Beth! I like your composition showing more of the animals habitat.
