Reaction time to me is: can I still get a picture of a bat hitting the baseball, can I still get the soccer ball coming off of the foot, can I still get a racecar just crossing the finish line. If I can still do that then my driving skills should still be the same.
How many people know how the hood ornament got started?
That one is beautiful piece of art.
I looked on line and this is what I found.
It was on a Chrysler 1930's imperial phaeton.
I saw them many years ago when MeadowLark Lemon was playing with them. Just amazing and fun.
What a magnificent bird. I think you did quite well capturing "Bird with fish".
This is a picture of our house that was taken circa 1888. The small girl, 4th from the left, was the great grandmother of a woman that visited us about 40 years ago. She gave us this picture and the timeline for it.
The second picture is how it is now.
The clothe the people are wearing will often get you quite close to the time frame of the photos.
Our historical society has a number of old class photos/ school photos and you can tell the different time periods. This picture was taken around 1910.
I have had Canons since 1975, I want to learn more.
When my brother passed away almost a year ago, we went through his slides picked out the slides of family and old home pictures. We threw the rest of the slides and at least 50 trays. I see them on Craig's list often.
You can feed the deer in PA. You have to have it gone a certain period of time before hunting season.
Take your lawn tractor, farm tractor or 4 wheeler and travel over the trails slow and often. After awhile the deer will just watch you drive by. The trick is to not look at them directly as you go by and no big movements. At times they are 20 feet from me, just watching. Slowly pick up the camera and get their portraits.
So, what is new with that? They have always added extra stuff to benefit themselves. A line item veto is needed.
Positive could be shopping for seniors that should not go out of the house. Helping families that have sick people in their house. Taking care of pets that the owners cannot because of the virus. Just do things for others that cannot do things for themselves now or they just need a bit of help now.
That is not insane, that is helping and doing something positive. If you want, take pictures of the good things you have done and in the future you can remember the good things done.
I have a site that is about RVs. If a topic like this starts I remove it before it gets nasty. If it is not about RVs it is not welcome. This is how I feel about this topic. We do not need our photo friends getting mad at each other.
I love the photography, I also love the house, the roof seems good so the inside might be rot free. A chainsaw to cut down the trees would be a good place to start the rehab.
The vice is a blacksmith's vice. There maybe a forge and blacksmith tools floating around the shop.
Nice.
I shutter to think there is not one for "Old Photographers never die, they just?
