Hello all.
Today I found a 'copy' of Photoshop CS that was given to me some time ago. I did not purchase it. It had a registration number and I put it in the comuter and it worked! But of course it wants to be registered on line or by phone. This computer does not have internet connection and I really do not want to talk to some-one on the phone about a copy. As it is a copy I have no idea where it came from. It said you have 30 days to register. What happens then? Does anyone know? Does it self detruct or can it be reinstalled?
Thanks,
Wendy
Hello all, I am not sure why this Seagate issue has cropped up again, it was quite some time ago that I first posted about it and have not posted any thing recently. All I can tell you is that I have two differernt makes of 1TB external drives that I back up on both frequently.

Yes this is the one, all I have done so far is to put in batteries to be sure it works. It is a heavy camera or I am not used to the size. The problem I am finding is a card reader. My old Olympus 2100 UZI that I still use for infra red also has the large cards. No stores locally carry a reader, so it wall be an amazon search I am sure.
Thanks again,
Wendy
Goodness I will certainly have to read the instructions to find the part about the wildlife in my back yard, I would love to do that!
Thanks,
Wendy
Oh how kind of you to send that link. It is now saved and I have a starting point.
Thanks and have a great weekend.

Hello all,
I have been given the use of an Olympus E-10 plus lenses. I am quite excited as the lenses will be great to work with. But there is no instruction book. I actually do not know if it works yet.
Perhaps you could let me know if you have one?
Thanks,
Wendy
There is plenty of memory on this computer. I thought all was well as it recognised it, but stopped short of the code input?
Thanks,
Wendy
I have a couple of very old Photoshop 7.0 CD's. I tried to load them today in a 4yr old laptop. It recognised the disc and all was well until it came to the install part, then nothing. It did not ask for the #. So do I assume the discs are old and need to be coasters, or do you think there is any hope that I can use this old laptop, that is still functioning. My husband retired it as it could no longer get an internet connection and to have it diganosed and repaired was not much less than a new one.
Thanks,
Wendy
It tells me closed..................
I bought on a whim at a wharehouse type store a little Nikon Coolpix S3500. I really liked it because it was purple, then I looked more. It is a 20.1 Megapixel 7 times zoom that is not bad at all. It was I think about $80 or $90. I just love it. I have it in my purse (small purse) or it fits into pants pocket easily. I am so glad I saw it and bought it. It is a great little camera.

I probably missed something? Did the 'Blue Hour contest close early or is it Wednesday? Got my picture this afternoon, ready to post and it is closed? I probably did not read the small print?

Wow all of your replies have been very helpful, thanks. I must admit that is sort of what I thought. The magazine articles make things look oh so easy!
Again thanks for your honest replies.
Have a good weekend.

A long wait in a medical waiting room and looking though much outdated magazines, I saw an article "Turn your photos into cash" well who wouldn't like to do this? It makes it sound like you can make $$$$ very easily............so my question is, has anyone done this profitably with Shutterstock or Stockphoto etc? If so can you share a good way to get started, and then continue?
Thanks,
Wendy
Sorry to keep on about this subject - but - I now have WordPress, my domain name, I have seen the dashbard video 100 or more times - so why can't I get it??? Any help would be appreciated, private messages are fine.
