What size lens did you use? What were your settings? It was almost straight overhead here in San Diego so all I could shoot was the moon. Had to PS it into other pics. Love the tree silhouetted

Yea, you can take multiple shots at different focus points then merge them togeather if you want the whole say bug in focus

I see the car lights arn't streaked so you have a high ISO. I had to play around with mine also because they were just allright. I found set the ISO on 100 and use aperture priority. They came out better. Tripod is a must. You can also use bulb and hold the lens open longer especially when cars go by for the light streaks. Also I like to set the aperture to 16 to get some stars on the street lights. Use manual focus.
You will discover phones now don`t have a cord.
I had that happen at a concert after I took a couple shots with a telephoto. I just moved somewhere else and hid within the crowd.
