Here you go - it's not particularly good due to only having a screen grab to work from. If you upload the original image file that would help.

Thanks, now I know which should go first.
Has anybody found Raw AI better than LR?
I find Mask AI is not very precise; I still prefer reMask 5.
Is Gigapixel AI only for large prints?
I found that Lumina AI is very useful too; making skies more interesting and face enhancement and some others.

Yes, I'm playing with it now. Trying to figure out which button to use and when. Trying one photo with sharpen, stabilize, and focus. Not sure which does what and what's best. Guess it depends on why the original isn't sharp.

You can turn the [View] drop-down button onto 4 small square portion[original, stabilize, sharpen, focus] and move the view area to where you deem important. then select the one that pleases you mostly.
The question is which one should perform first, Denoise or Sharpen?
Would the Sharpen tool introduce some extra noise or the Denoise tool provide better image for the Sharpen tool to perform?

This is exactly why I bought my Fuji. On trips, I leave my FF Canon at home and take the Fuji and an 18-55 (27-82mm 35mm equivalent). It and a small flash fit in a small over-the shoulder bag, and the total weighs maybe 3 lbs. if I’m planning on lots of indoors shooting without a flash, I may take a fast prime. At 24 MP and an APS-C sensor, the image quality is excellent, even at ISO 6400. Problem solved with very little, if any compromise in performance/IQ.

I bought the Fuji-T10 with the (18-55 2.8) which can take good scenery but not low light and people, when compared to my older D610(24-85 4.0) while the weight reduction is 1.7 vs 2.7 lb.

I would bring all my favorable gears in a tolling bag or a trolly if you can walk on the paved road.
While on hiking on dirt road, bring a sling bag with no more than 2 lens ranging from 24-200, don't forget your flash and tripod if you want people included in the pictures.
May I ask how you plan to stay during your trip. I am turning 69 this years, and plan to take similar trip.

Firstly, I copied my favorites into folders under a slideshow-folder and have them displayed as slideshow in two ways. They are all free, no need to buy anything.
1) I turn on Faststone Viewer slideshow on the other monitor(I used dual monitors) and select the favorable folder; I use Faststone for my regular viewing and keeping of my collections anyway.
2) On the Lock Screen of the System Setting, I select the favorable folder(s), so whenever the system has been idled for a certain time, it turns on the Slideshow; this one you can select the base folder and it will show all its pictures in the sub-folders.

All good suggestions. And don't forget that most photo editing software have a 'virtual copy' function that allows you to make a copy of the photo you want to edit. That preserves the original.

A stand alone(not plugged in) Dxo Sharpen tool, Topaz Adjust AI and Topaz Denoise AI tool will replace the original one with the same file name without asking; or there is a setting that I didn't know.

Hi-
I am a hobbyist photographer who mainly shoots macro nature (flowers, foliage) and some sea and landscapes) and of course, my 4 kids:))
About a year ago, my employer asked if I would take some mini (15 min session) holiday family portraits, on-site. I work at a beautiful nursery/home decor place, perfect setting for photos. I have continued it this year, purchasing a portrait lens, etc, practicing and learning everything I could about this type of photography. I’ve had a very positive response to the images and have truly enjoyed this genre. They have all been daytime, outdoors, natural light.
My boss just asked if I could run out to her house to take a holiday picture of her, her husband and baby. Because of her work schedule, it has to be nighttime and she would like if outdoors, in front of their new house, with Christmas lights. I said yes, of course, but am panicking because I don’t ever shoot at night. I have a speed light but am not even sure how to use it. I have a Nikon d7200. The speed light I own (Altura) cannot not be set-up for TTL? (just learning about off-camera flash) so has to be manual and I am not sure of the settings I should use. Help! Please be kind. I never use flash and was hoping for a quick lesson so I can get a decent shot for her tonight.
Thank you in advance!
Martha
adding a photo from one of the sessions-a new baby! Really have enjoyed capturing these special moments!

I have one of the cheaper flash(about $50-60) which has universal rotation and gradual intensity dial, then experiment it manually with different brightness vs iso vs speed vs F-stop.
I have fairly good portrait results per D610 and 50mm 1.4 with the flash reflector up, direct it to the ceiling(brightness about mid-way), ISO(about 400), speed(about around 100), Aperture(about 4.5). then vary different settings according to your needs.

Today I found this on Amazon, forgive me if you think I am advertising, I am not but just finger itching.
https://www.amazon.com/Gosky-Updated-Newest-Spotting-Carrying/dp/B07FMT95B5/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
I find this very nice and useful, because it can be used on smart phones and Nikons.
I have a D610 and my questions are:
1. Does anyone have experience with this kind of monoscopes on smartphones or Dslrs?
2. Can this thing do better job than my Nikkor(300mm, 4.5 manual) or similar? I also have a Tamron(200-400mm 5.6 auto)
3. Is this a good thing to own or you find other brands more versatile?

I agree that you need to do some online research first. Then lens quality should be a driving consideration. Bad lens = bad photo. That is where to put your money in my opinion. I use a Nikon body and Nikkor lenses - no complaints.

Nikon is a good choice if your are on a budget and don't mind buying used lenses (on Ebay)

I don't know why it is difficult to do. My Nikon 610 has a ">o<" indicator and when the subject is in focus, the >< will disappear and only the o shows.

I have 24mm & 50mm primes and 20-35 & 24-70 Zooms.
Which one do you think should yield better result for landscape?
