Might I ask what you are planning on photographing in Nashville that would require that level of practice.
I live just about fifteen minutes away from downtown Nashville and there's precious few places like that around here although if you voyage out to hermitage and see the home of Andrew Jackson it has some beautiful gardens like that, as does Cheekwood in the Brentwood area.
If you leave downtown towards hermitage you will have to pass the Mt Olivet cemetery which is a fantastic location for photos.

I figure the only people who are entitled to where their hats backwards are photographers and welders (to keep sparks or slag from going down their back, been there done that, ouch!). And no, key hole peeping toms are not entitled to either.

Can't forget the baseball catcher who wears it backwards so he/she can wear a protective mask over the face.

Next year will possibly be the best chance most Americans alive today will ever have of seeing a total eclipse of the sun. It will be visible through a huge swath of the Southwest - where the weather in October is often clear and "sunny". Large cities such as San Anotnio and Albuquerque will be plunged into darkness - for a few minutes anyway. The relative location of the moon is expected to create a "ring of fire" effect during this eclipse.

I am looking forward to it. The paths of some of the past few eclipses visible in the US have been in areas and seasons with high expectations of bad weather which have ended up dampening the event.

I was fortunate with the last one and the path of totality ran right through my area.
I sat up a tripod and camera along with a folding chair and I was able to capture it from the comfort of my driveway.
It wasn't my first although it was for my wife.
I'm trying to get a small RV and travel to the desert for the next one and shoot it from the roof of the RV possibly around the grand canyon.

And you can get any kind of gun you want on the AMERICAN Black Market as well..

There is no difference — there is just a higher likelihood the purchase will be conducted by an undercover officer in the United States.

So basically what you are saying is that a criminal is going to be able to get a gun regardless of what laws are on the books.

You have the smuggling direction BACKWARDS.

Readily available and relatively inexpensive guns are purchased in the U. S., and smuggled into Mexico. Not the other way around.

Mexican law PROHIBITS most weapon possession, certainly all pistols and semi-automatic weapons. About the only available weapons are non-semiautomatic shotguns.

And yet you can get any kind of gun you want on the Mexican black market anything from a full auto Uzi to heavy artillery .
Not everything is as the media portrays it.

Youn seem to infer things that are not implied...

If I misunderstood the implications I will apologize and yes while it is true that the media generally points to the container full being brought through the major ports rest assured that there is a distribution system in place for the backpack brigade.
The same coyotes as they are refered to are all too happy to allow smuggled goods in lieu of pay.
This has never been the sort of thing that is reported by the media but it is the same thing that the border patrol agents face daily .

"I suppose you are not concerned"

Rather snarky with no basis in what I said...

You were the one making light of the fact that you were not aware of any major busts.
That is indicative of not deeming the small ones worth your time.

I am not going to look up sources, but I have seen many reports of major busts...and they are all trying to come through a port of entry.

I have not seen any reports of major busts out in the middle of nowhere.

While it's true that the large major shipments are caught at the major ports there's still an extremely high volume of smaller ones being backpacked across although I suppose you are not concerned about several individual backpacks full of drugs and other things since they have stopped a container box at the major port.

I agree that i******s carrying backpacks are not the ones bringing in the f******l, but what they do is overwhelm border enforcement resources allowing drug smugglers to cross undetected. I am unaware of any reporting that discusses major ports of entry v other methods of crossing the border. It would be interesting to read about that if you have sourcing.

Not just drug smugglers but also illegal arms are being smuggled across the border in an alarming amount.

Did you know that there's a small industry built around repairing and modifying the iPod? You can actually build a new iPod with all the parts that are available. Except for the motherboard, everything is being offered new. A popular mod is replacing the hard drive with an SSD. Elite Obsolete Electronics is one of the parts suppliers.

I'm the crazy outcast who has wiped the iPod and reformated it as a flash drive and it now serves as a windows 10 installation disk.
