Am excellent set with beautiful scenery and very nice accommodations. It looks like a place you could call home. Gail looks happy and she brightens the set.

These are definitely not the best, but one must understand the circumstances under which they were taken. Here is the story:

I was on holiday over Christmas. My wife suggested that we go for a ride in the country. So, obviously I had to grab my camera (Sony A77ll) and a couple of lenses; One of which is a Tamron sp 150-600. during the drive I had a much smaller lens attached. My wife asked me why I am bringing that monster lens? My response was, "what if we see an eagle or something?".

Well, as it happened, we were diving south on Missouri hwy 13 just south of Warrensburg, Missouri when we rounded a curve. Sure enough, A Golden Eagle was resting on a branch. The only place to pull over was about 800 feet away. If that wasn't bad enough, knowing that this bird was not going to stick around very long, I had to change lenses real fast!

That part worked. He was still there But there was a barbed wire fence that may or may not be in the way. In my favor was that I was able to rest that heavy lens on the car door since I dare not open the door. I focused quickly but I was not all happy with the size of the image. Ah, ha! I have a built in teleconverter. Cool. I had to put the camera in jpeg mode (that part does not bother me) in order to make the teleconverter active. I put it in 2x and fired away. Here are 4 of them.

When Adam was lying there after he was created before Eve was taken from him was he Echad or Yachid?
Just something to think about.

Today is the first run of the season of the Winter Park Express that runs from downtown Denver to the Winter Park Ski area. The train runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from January to March. This photo shows the Express rounding the curve in Arvada at the east switch of the Leyden siding. This was my first real outing with my Christmas present, a Canon R body.

EXCELLENT
Thanks so much for your kind comments Polonois. I realize that I do this in my photos of Gail. Occasionally, it’s because I want to sho more of the scenery behind her. I will try and correct it because she has pretty feet![/qu

Thank you, I'm sure her feet are pretty. Keep the great pictures coming.

I just want to say how much I enjoy these photos of your travels. I look forward to your posts and the excellent photos. Keep up the good work. There is one small Item that I am reluctant to point this out. There no disrespect meant. It seems to me that in the larger majority of your photos that include your wife you have a tendency to cut off her feet. It's not a big deal but it jumps out at me. It would be nice if she had feet.
Sorry I S..t in your cornflakes. We ALL are entitled to our opinion. Mine is I find more and more 3D postings annoying...just like some posters on this site...some people need to lighten up and not be so confrontational...probably won't post any comments on here ever again...what's the point of riling people up? Have a nice life...[/quo

I think the original post has gotten a bit off tract. In the first comment Mr. Ardensmith stated he found 3D photos annoying. I responded "I Agree". I agree that they are a bit annoying. Please note I did not say they shouldn't be posted or they were bad or did I criticize the actual photo. I find it many instances that the 3D photos are excellent. My problem is the conversions are awful without glasses. However I still view them. Most times I would like to see the photo before the conversion to judge the photo as it was taken, not as it was manipulated.Unfortunately it is rarely posted. Too many people here and in the world read things into opinions which are not really there. So all you 3D posters out there post away. For the rest of you just enjoy the great photos on here and get your head out of the attic.
