Does anyone still use a Chemex? My father had one back in the late 40s

Yep! But only when I have enough coffee drinkers to need several cups.

The best coffee is still made with a stovetop percolator!
But, if all you need is a single cup, pour-over is the way to go.
The problem with the K-cup (and all of the other brands, too) is the
amount of coffee in (or, missing from) the damned things. Consumer
Reports reported on this a while back. There's less than half the amount
of coffee grounds necessary for a decent cup.

My Expensive Epson printer died due to leaking ink on the photo papers so I have various Epson papers left. I recently bought the Canon Pro 200 printer. I compared the Epson paper using the Canon profile with the same type of Canon paper using the Canon profile and could not tell the difference! How important is various paper profiles when printing Hoggs?

Not real important; I used up all my left-over Canon paper with my new Epson printer. No problem.

This makes me wonder what archeologists will say some 5,000 years from now when they discover today's graffiti, including gang symbols, spray painted on walls, etc.

Walls built anytime after say 1950 won’t be around

Wouldn’t vodka work as well as water? I keep my vodka in the freezer and it doesn’t freeze.

I remember new reels of Pele. He was quite amazing. I think the looking away from the goal, over the head kick (if that describes it) helped seal the deal.

From The Family Handyman -

Use enough lights. Use 2,000 lights on the bottom half of the tree and 2,000 on the top half for a total of 4,000 lights. You can use white lights or opt for colored Christmas lights.

You might want to start right after Thanksgiving dinner. : ) Maybe this tip is for the folks who decorate the tree in Rockefeller Center.

I think the most I ever put on “our” tree - probably 30 years ago; 7-1/2 or 8 footer - was 1200. The only comment from She Who Must Be Obeyed was, “You missed a spot.”

I guess someone has to be the guy to say it: Stick to giving technical advice, Paul; when you stray off your path, your inner asshole seems to lose control. Just sayin’ 🤷🏼‍♂️
