I have a weather app on my iPhone, and one of the locs I monitor is Mexico City. No particular reason, just curious. The temps there tend to be consistently below more northern locs, like my area in north-central North Carolina. Example: As I compose this, it is in the upper-upper 80s here, but only 77 in MC. This is a common reading diff on my wx app.
With MC not too many degrees north of the equator, why is it always so pleasant temp wise. Inquiring minds want to know.
Mexico City is on a mountain plateau, elevation of around 7300 feet.
