I had a similar experience with MPB... bought an "excellent" Carl Zeiss Distagon T 35mm f/2 ZF.2 lens from them and was extremely satisfied with the condition of this lens. I would recommend MBP.com based on my experience.
Who's the "distinguished" photographer?
Make sure to always carry your camera around your neck, and not on your shoulder... reduces the chance of a deranged, drug-addicted homeless person from stealing it. Avoid subways and don't look any passers-by in the eye... follow the same safety guidelines as when viewing or photographing Silverback Gorillas in Rwanda.
I left a 2001 Olympus C4040 Zoom digital camera on an empty chair next to where I was sitting in a seafood restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where we were having dinner with my wife's old boss. While in the car driving back to our hotel, I realized that I had left the camera in the restaurant. I told my wife's boss about the mistake, and he ordered his driver to return to the restaurant. When we arrived, the maitre d' handed me back my camera. Close call that would have ruined our vacation.
You get what you pay for.
No... they are masters of the "bait and switch"
The Nikon Df... no videos and just stills. Excellent "smallish" high-quality made-in-Japan full-frame camera that can handle new as well as vintage Nikkor lenses going back to the 1970's... Same sensor as the Nikon D4.

Have recently purchased some new Canon gear including a Canon 600m lens which doesn't fit well in my hodge podge of camera bags ranging from an old Adorama Slinger bag to Peak design small bag that works well with some older Fuji gear. We lost our camera store in Santa Barbara (Samy's) which is where I would have gone to check out cam bags. So I'm at a loss as to where to look for camera bags. Nervous about buying a new bag on line but I guess that's my only alternative at present. There are so many choices! Some advice would be very helpful. Thank you.

It depends on what style and size of bag you want, but I recommend taking a look at camera bags made by LowePro. They have a wide variety of bags, and you're bound to find one the meets your needs. I have quite a few, and I've always been pleased with their looks, features and quality.

My younger brother and I both got Kodak Brownie cameras from our father for Christmas in 1961 or 1962. Here's a pic of us on summer vacation -- I'm the one on the right with a Starmite, and my brother on the left has the Starflash.
I would have been proud to have gotten this shot. Nice job.
So far in 2021, I've only used my iPhone 12!
