Tom,
I ended up selling it on eBay. I didn't get any responses here until yours!
good advice here, but one thing I do when I seem to have sudden focusing problems is to clean the sensor. Easy to do yourself (lots of info online) and it has worked wonders for me.
I'm going to be in D.C. in late May when the Dodgers are in town and for the Saturday night game, I splurged and got a ticket in the front row, just left of the Dodgers dugout. I've brought a Canon SLR1/Tamron 16-300 combination into many games as a fan without problem, but for this one am planning to bring a 7D MII. Will I have a problem bringing it in a mid-size shoulder bag?
Looks like snow, but was actually very heavy and wet hail. In 40 years living here and working downtown, I had never seen anything like it.
I would definitely start with Photos, which is free on your computer, and add plug-ins later if you want. But Photos honestly should be all that you need right now.
if you're doing a "windows off" helicopter shoot, a 70-200 might be too big to handle the windy conditions. I'd stick with a 24-70 or something similar in size
as Yogi Berra said, "no one ever goes there because it's too crowded!"
Nice. A bridge made famous by the Lady Bird movie!
