I have lived at my home for 10 years now. For 10 years we have been graced to have a pair of Great Horned Owls share their space with us, each year they nest in a bluff below my house each year they produce 2-3 chicks. These are just a few pictures from throughout the years

Great series! Thanks for sharing!

Brother Ron and I went out droning and also to Lacassine Nat. Wildlife Refuge for some birding. It was a beautiful day and the birds cooperated. The Mallard images are a little soft due camera shake. I took them from inside Ron's Jeep While it was idling.

Great shots. Thanks for sharing!

It was 5*F when I arrived near the main entrance to the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge this past Friday. When I left my house some 80 miles south it was a tolerable 24*'s. Couldn't believe I left the comforts of a warm bed at 5:30 am...who in their right mind would do this?

Anyhow, approaching the entrance, was delighted to see an old friend. This weathered post has served this particular Bald Eagle well over the years. He/she has been returning to this perch for the last several years and seems to delight in posing for us fotogs. Mornings first light had just crested the mountains illuminating the Eagle beautifully. And, as luck would have it, this was the only bird photo I got that morning...the whole refuge was frozen solid!

However, good fortune did strike as I ran into Utah Mike a few minutes later. After chatting for a while, we decided to check out another frozen location. No luck there either so we headed to a little lunch counter for coffee and make some future plans once spring arrives.

All nice ones.

The Iphone photo's however were taken in portrait mode instead of landscape mode.
Next time I'd suggest turning your phone sideways for a landscape photo.

Thank you very much for the good suggestion! IN the future, I will pay more attention on the landscape aspect of the scene. Actually, I tried different ways including sideway photos. Here are examples taken yesterday. But somehow, I do not like what I took🙂.
