For me, the combination of auto ISO and manual mode presents a real learning opportunity. Using the "sunny 16" method of estimating exposure, then comparing the camera's ISO selection with my estimated ISO is very educational.

The bumpstock device is as hi-tech as a chair under a door-knob, door lock. Outlawing them will be futile and will result in home-made versions by thousands of do-it-yourselfers. Any recoil-operated semi-auto can be converted, and there are bazillions of them out there.

Any law, to be at all effective, must prohibit any gun that can fire more than one shot per trigger -pull.

It would be interesting to get a look at the whole structure and see the relationship of the parts
- a bit difficult from this photo.

I find the overall appearance of the church uninteresting and didn't save anything other than this. For me, this is abstract in concept: although consisting of ordinary objects, I'm seeing shapes, areas and colors which balance and come together forming a strong composition. That's the intent. Many thanks for looking and commenting.

A familiar pattern in the cut design. My grandmother and her sister-in-law both had several pieces cut like that. A pickle dish was passed down to me. It's stored away somewhere. We don't entertain much.

Hey Cambriaman---you don't have to entertain to have pickles. Dig it out----wash it off---fill it up--enjoy!!!!
Thanks for looking

That is a very interesting image, an abstracted view of an art object, full of detail, light variances, color and symmetry.

I like the reflected blues because of their complementary position on the color scale in references to the oranges.

This image could yield hours of fun playing with PP programs to push it further into abstraction, or even into monochrome abstraction.

Nice visualization, plan and execution.

Thanks Minnie. Here is another shot of the bowl with a dahlia.

I agree with erich. If the blue is reflections, would lighting from below help any?

Probably would Steve. Thanks for your comment.

It is gorgeous, and I like the symmetry. There are some blueish areas. I'm guessing that these are reflections. To my eye they are slightly distracting. But the detail in the glass really comes through in your photo and I think this type of photo has to have sharp detail. It does.
