When do I need to calibrate my lens when I do post editing in Lightroom?
Also, I need a recommendation on the initial steps to take to edit an image.
Lastly, how do I crop an image and ensure it will still be 16MB for a printed enlargement?
Thanks, I appreciate the insight and recommendations in advance of receiving any responses.

Lightroom simply "asks" your computer the default email program and then prepares an email using that default and the exported image as an attachment. For a quick workaround, just export the image (hard disk) and start a new email from your active email, then attach the exported file from disk, and then send.

To resolve the default email issue, you may need to uninstall the software behind the "blue" icon. You definitely need to investigate (or get expert help) on how to update your computer to specify the default email as the new AOL account.

Hello! I’m a newbie here...this is my first post! Most of my experience behind the camera has been with point and shoots. While I’ve enjoyed those I would rather have a better quality camera for better pics. I’m going to stretch my budget a bit and get a Nikon D500. My dilemma is should I go with a bundle that the retailer is selling? If I were to get the body and just one lens to begin with what would you recommend as a good ‘all occasion’ type of lens? I guess that’s enough to start...i talk ... a lot so I’ll apologize in advance! :-). Thank you everyone! Looking forward to chatting with all of you!

here is my 2cents worht of advise, unless you know what type of photography you want to do and know the tools that it takes to do that job, piece it together, if you are not sure, buy an inxspensive kit until you learn what it is you what to do, { you will save a lot of money in the long run} then ad you your equipment a little at a time.

good luck

cool! Since I posted this thread, I have rec'd 6 PMs from interested members. I am going to gift the lens, and shipping (US) to one of the folks... so far I am waiting to decide which one by the submitted info. Kinda subjective based on PM. As I stated in the OP, an aspiring photo enthusiast! That is all I have @ this time, would welcome any contributions/suggestions...

Thank-you!

do we have a list of needy people?, maybe you can draw names, and divey up the names of the person in need to one of us that has the equipment we are going to donate. and that way the item would not have to have postage twice! and we are keeping you Honest,
