I'm not sure if this will work or not but it might be worth a try as they are designed for use with glasses. I have the Square one meant for the d7000 series for my d7200 on order. There are some negative reviews on the d800 but nothing on the 610. Google it you might find more information.

On over heating in laptops; one of the major culprits is the hard drive and that's one of the reasons why so many people here have recommended getting SSD drives even at the extra cost. Also if your willing to wait the newer Intel chipset coming this year will also reduce heat.

It's not that I don't like apples I really think they are a joy to operate but apple tends to throw out OS updates a little to often for me and my customers and I have found that there are a number of older pieces of software that either have to have major costly up dates a little to often. I guess that the bottom line that I'm speaking of is cost of operation that both in the short run and the long run I have found that the Apples are more costly and it was my job to keep costs down in the IT department. In many cases we were split in some of my jobs with high end apples in the art department and pc in all the business modes, however we had PC in the art side as well and it was a matter of preference among the users.

You might want to check this site out. I am an x tech and purchased a lot of laptops for my clients over the years and found that the Toshibas held up the best overall and some of my clients really used them hard on the road and on job sites. Although I'm waiting to see what Microsoft is doing with the Surface here is my first choice without the Surface in play. http://www.toshiba.com/us/computers/laptops/satellite/Radius15/P50W-CBT2N22
These are customizable to your needs and will still stay well within your budget including a 4K screen capability. It would be nice to have a 1Tb SSD drive on the thing but I feel that it is overkill as I have all the space I need on the cloud and can push all my shots during the day up to the cloud in the evening and retrieve them later to upload to my backup drives. Haven't lost a picture yet.
I've worked on both apples and PC for years but I just feel that Apple tends to back you into a corner with to much built in obsolesce, more so than you will find on a PC of similar quality. Apples are great computers don't get me wrong, over the years I have just found that my Toshibas have held up a lot better and stay in service longer.

There is a new Microsoft Surface being introduced on October 6th. Will be within your budget and the addition of the stylus might be a positive when working with Photoshop. I'm waiting to see the specs on the new model especially if they go to the newer Intel processor which will allow the machine to run a lot cooler. They are also talking about going to a 14+ inch display which brings it into a usable range screen size and I can still stuff it into my photo bag or backpack.

You can run different Operating Systems only on the CC subscription version.

You would have to deactivate one of the two you already have the CC installed on to use a third computer. Most people suggest just buying a second license if you need it on a third computer. The idea being that most people need two systems operable for home/business use or home/mobile use.

I just checked the question with the Adobe forum and Adobe stated that you can load and run your Adobe CC subscription on two computers but no more. It is the same licensing as the boxed product except with CC you can run both the Windows and a Mac OS version, with the boxed version it has to be the same OS.

I have been carrying a camera on me for over 60 years and to be honest I hate having it on my chest and bouncing around. I prefer having it on a sling with the lens pointing down so it reduces the chance of it sticking out to far and hitting things. The key is getting the strap on the camera in a way that you can grab the camera quickly with your dominant hand in a shooting mode without the strap getting in the way. I get this done with the "Slide" by Peak Design strap. What I really like is their quick release tabs and the fact that the tripod plate that comes with the strap fits my tripod ball head perfectly so I never have to change it out or take the strap quick releases off the camera to use my tripod.

Don't use them myself but I have a number of friends that use them here in Tennessee to track deer and turkey and they seem to work quite well. There are a number of different models might want to Google trail cams to see what's available.

I really had to think about this. I used an old Nikon F and an F4 until they were stolen. I bought an early Sony point and shoot That my wife used more than I did and that one ended up being given to her sister in the Philippines. My first digital was a Nikon d5000 that I still use as my second and I now use a d7200.

I'm personally waiting to see if Microsoft brings out a larger Surface Pro (said to be 14 inches). We'll know on October 6th. I also recommend the Toshiba brand (mid to high level models). I'm a retired IT guy and would only purchase Toshiba's for my clients because they held up so well. Some of my clients were really hard on their laptops but they loved their Toshiba's. What ever you purchase be sure to have at least 12 preferably 16MB of ram and an SSD hard drive of 256G or higher. I know the solid state drives will push your cost up but they run silently, they run cooler and about 10 times faster than a standard mechanical hard drive. Go with the smaller drive to keep your cost down and push your overage into the cloud.

I'm always leery of items sold online that are not also sold by the big players in photo gear like B&H or Adorama.... Not saying the obscure brands aren't good, but if they are, why are they not sold at the "Pro" stores ?

I am also, normally, but I use to work in the industry at the wholesale level and know from experience that dealers (even the largest) can't possibly carry all the brands. Some times you find a new up and coming brand that suits your needs just right. For what it is this is an excellent tripod for the price point.

I recently upgraded from an old inexpensive aluminum tripod that I've had for a few years and just didn't like due to it's instability. I upgraded to this:

These come in different names but it's a great tripod with a very good ball head attached. You can also unscrew one of the legs and use it as a monopod when needed. Weight was an issue for me as well as I'm 70 and can't carry as much as I use to. This tripod is also MUCH smaller that my old unit and weighs in a little less.
