I have it and, for the most part, like it. On some images the improvement is remarkable, but for others I find it over sharpens. It works well enough often enough that I try it on about a third of my images.

Hi Dave. I also am familiar with the area from my time in graduate school during the age of dinosaurs. Thanks for posting.

Up to your usual excellence.

Not fair Katy. You are making those of us still trapped in winter very jealous, and that does not even count being jealous ofthe great pictures.

Thank you Linda and Steve and kpmac. There were several tussles during the time I was there. Some between juveniles and adults, but some were betweem two or three adults. It was fun to watch.
Following jederick alert that the eagles were back at Farmington Bay, I drove the 2 hours to check them out. There were not as many as he saw, but still plenty to get some good photos. There were also lots of other birds there including thousands of tundra swans. Some of the eagles were feeding among pelicans, ducks, gulls and an occasional great blue heron.
Welcome Steve. I just got back from Farmington Bay about an hour ago, and will be posting a few images sometime tonight or tomorrow.
As usual, a great shot.

Don't hold back Vaughan. Tell us how you really feel. I have never heard of him before, and don't own any Sigma products, so I can't venture an opinion.

Thank you all for the kind words.
Thanks Donna and Corky.
