I already conceded you we’re regurgitating Rachel’s talking points, and I assumed that was the instance y’all referred to.

I could explain what the video means, but I can’t understand it for you.

You know this is true or you wouldn’t have jumped into personal attacks.

Personal attacks are your stock in trade; virtually everything else you say is superfluous shading.... all sizzle, no meat.

Wakey wakey. Dow dropped a few moments with China tariff announcements too. Then carried on.

Proper Analysis matters.

Really? Check the Dow’s trend for the past month, down nearly 2,000 points.... a drop of 7.5%. Proper analysis matters; try doing it some time.

Haven’t you been wrong for the last two years and counting, while Sean Hannity,Rush Limbaugh, me and he rest of the tin foil hat deplorables have been right?
I like the fact he is dredging the swamp causing your ilk to speak and think the way you do.
I guess you want the United States of America to attack NK now.
We know you are fine gathering v**es through i*****l i*********n.
Hey let’s talk about the investigation of the investigation comrade.

So, WoodenShips, why don't you answer my question? Maybe Screanin' Scott is right, you are a troll. I don't know how many times I have asked Liberals questions on this site, and they refuse to answer anything! I thought the whole idea of this site was to give your opinions. Instead you guys come out and say something and then go into hiding.

I did answer his question... where’s his contribution (or yours for that matter)?

Another post from the troll who seems to only post here in the "Attic"

I make very few posts in this site, and yes, most are those are in the Attic. Troll? Not really; just observations of the antics and limitations of unthinking trump supporters. Condescension, while being ill mannered, is a typical result when confronted by people who would bite their nose thinking it will teach their face a lesson.

So, what are you adding to this tread? Nothing - using trump’s play book, you ignore content and rail against the opposition.
Sad but then, so what?

Consider; do you still believe a trade war is easy to win? Do you really believe China is “paying” millions in tariff expense? Do you have ANY idea what the impact of China’s tariffs on rare earth elements will be? Think national security; if China leverages its virtual monopoly of rare earth elements, our defense industry will be severely harmed. This is merely the latest example of trump’s incompetent, short sighted, impulsive policies. His decisions are having a very dangerous impact on our future. Right now Dow futures are down $283.

So, why don’t you think it through? Don’t support trump just because he h**es what you h**e.

Think it through!!!

Trump’s “love” executed diplomats that failed to make his February’s summit a success. What a fine person to admire.

Kim launched missiles recently that Bolton stated was a violation of agreements but Trump disagrees.

Thus we see the “stable genius” at work. Shall we discuss the trade wars with China and now Mexico?

How can people support this deranged man? This child king is trying to make America something none of us has ever seen in our lifetime.

I always thought the Pied Piper was a childhood fable but apparently not; today, like then, the vermin joyfully follow his tune.

You need help. You are well beyond the third standard deviation (it’s a math measurement related to the extreme). Your anger is far beyond reason and hurts you FAR more than anyone else. Get some help; make a better, happier life for yourself and those who care about you.

Not best friends, trump and Kim are in love per trump’s actual statements.
Get a grip, trump is crazy and his supporters are looking the other way because trump h**es the same things they h**e.

I'm glad you had a good time. I really debated responding to this and understand everyone has their own opinion. My Mother was a Democrat committeewoman; my inlaws were to the right of Genghis Khan. My parents were working class, I was educated in Economics and Finance and ended up as an officer in several Fortune 500 insurance brokerages specializing in environment, utilities and life science.
I live in the Socialist Republic of New Jersey and generally v**e Republican. I needed to preface my further comments with that background.
My opinion is the last good president was George Sr. I wasn't a fan of the Clintons, Mr. O'Bama or George Jr. I really h**ed the choices in the last e******n and held my nose and v**ed for Hilary because I disliked Trump more. From my business background, I felt Mr. Trump would be a lousy president. I held my breath after the e******n and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, my fears have been justified. He has been caught in numerous lies - I didn't have a relationship with her, the tax deal will benefit the middle class, there's no such thing as g****l w*****g, I wasn't working a deal with Russia while I was running, I didn't try to stop the investigation, and China is going to pay dearly with tariffs. In order - he did, the tax primarily helped the wealthy (and boy did it screw the states that v**ed against him), g****l w*****g is a proven fact by scientists that know more about it than you or me, he did try to put a stop to the investigation, and unfortunately tariffs are passed on to the buyer and usually to the ultimate consumer. I don't disagree with some of his evaluation of issues, but putting up a wall doesn't work. Ask the Chinese how effective the Great Wall was in keeping out the Mongols.
Tariffs are considered by many to be one of the causes of the Great Depression and if not a cause, it lengthens its time. Unfortunately tariffs also cause a country to look for other sources, so farmers that have lost soybean sales may experience permanent losses - if we back them up - the support payments may be permanent. I think something has to be done with China, but are you aware that most of the rare earth elements that we use in technology almost exclusively come from China? You may be keeping that iPhone, iPad or computer a bit longer.
But my biggest objection is the name-calling - it serves no purpose and polarizes the country; and unfortunately the international community. The Democrats have their own issues and the result between them is inertia. One Republican made a comment I think in the last few days of it sounds like children arguing. Sean Connery in a movie declared: "The Japanese have a saying, fix the problem, not the blame." I agree and he was also the best James Bond.
I yearn for the day when the parties will work together and try and find a compromise where they can. Some issues they can't, but on every issue is a bit much.
Lastly, and this is really wishful thinking. I yearn for the day of when politicians, Republican and Democrat, work for the common good of the republic and its citizens, instead of fulling their own pockets. I don't know of many in national politics that come out poorer than when they went in. I'd like lobbying outlawed and term limits for the members of Congress.
And yes I am an opinionated, quixotic old man. Have a good day.
I'm glad you had a good time. I really debated res... (show quote)

Your honesty and reason will be lost on many here. This is not the USA I grew up loving. Nor would it have been if Hillary won. It seems we have lost our moral compass and everyone is out for themselves with no regard what is best for the country. When did we begin believing party loyalty is more important than what is best for the country?
If WW II has been fought with the country in this sad state of affairs, we would have lost.
