I suggest one should consider the new Tamron version that is $1700 less money! I personally cannot justify the additional expense. I am shooting a wedding this weekend with my new Tamron lens. In any case, a 70-200 is a must have for any kind of serious photographer!
D7200 is currently pricing out at $800!
I am a professional photographer. I use two D7200 Nikons. I love them! Dual card slots for backup on jobs!

This was a great reply. I do not shoot sports photography. Your reply told me about equipment that I did not know was out there. Thank you.
Purchase a D7200 Nikon new for $800 from e.g.B&H
I am a working professional photographer, photographing weddings, mitzvahs, real estate, studio, and families. The D7200 is fabulous! I have two. Get it before it is no longer available.

My understanding is that the "crowd" is rushing to Luminar. My old LightRoom serves me well professionally, working with Nik software, which is now free. I personally do not like "renting" software.
I do not shoot sports or wild life. I do not have that skill set nor am I interested in learning. Wedding photography is a whole other skill set. I am very proud of what I have learned over 20+ years. That said, the bride will get what she pays for.
I envy you. I am afraid to buy refurb. I am waiting for Xmas to get another new D7200. I have enough back up presently with one D300, and two D200. I am safe with my D7200 until then. The jobs are coming in. My images are all enhanced in Lighrtoom and Nik software. Congratulations!
My work is real estate, weddings, mitzvahs, family portraiture, and head shots. I have fabulous studio lighting that I have acquired over 30 years.
I do not understand your "correction." I looked at my posting and I did not use the word "there" or "their."
Let's stick with photography. I note that my posting on Facebook of a house that I photographed for money, had over 2000 views yesterday! Additionally, the same client gave me a 5 star google+ review. Additionally, I am number one on google for professional head shot photography in Lake County, Illinois. All images taken with D7200!
I make my living doing professional photography. The D7200 is the best!
My suggestion is that you do a little conversation with your self. What are your interests? What lenses will get you there? What can you afford? There are lots of "toys" out there, but can you justify their purchase. Of course this conversation is moot, if you have a pocket full of money!
I have an expensive old Bogen tripod that I bought 35 years ago that weighs a "ton." I am using it this morning for corporate head shots on location to hold my D7200 with a 85mm lens. Saturday, I am using it for HDR, 7 exposures, real estate photography. Yep, it was expensive. I could divide the cost by 35 and it will seem like a yearly "bargain."
Hi folks,
I am a successful studio and event photographer. I "swear" by my D7200. I am buying another one Christmas when the price typically drops $200. Of course, you need "good glass."
