Good to hear! Yes, I know they’ve worked on it for 20+ years, now, and it’s certainly better, but owners still complain. Every consumer grade Epson we’ve owned (9 since the late 1980s) β€œdied” of a head clog. But we got plenty of use from them while they worked. I still prefer them.

been using my Epson Stylus 7800 Pro for at least 12 years. I run the head cleaner every 6 months and have never had a clog, even though it can be several months between usages. uses up some ink, but I can always depend on it to work when needed.

I've never been tempted to try anything but Epson inks.

10 cartridges @ about $130 per. I go through a set every 18-24 months.

largest print to date: 24" x 8'7" on superfine print quality. WOW.

other printer for daily use is a stylus photo r2400.

portable for on-the-job printing are 3 Photo R380s

Just glad I don't have to switch bodies and lenses like I was constantly doing when I needed different ISO's on my film assignments, (not to mention mediums of B&W, slide & print!).

just think of having to do the same with ASAs!

I can relate - but my half hour can easily turn into 1+ hours. This is a fun image.

Judy doesn't understand how I can spend 3 hours on a pic that is going to be a 5x7.

To me the beauty is in the details.
Even if you can't see them.

in Washington the law says that we are able to make a right turn at a red LIGHT after stopping and verifying that the intersection is clear of traffic and peds.

the law also states that if you are stopped by a red ARROW there is no free turn allowed. The red arrow specifically controls the right turn. People who are ignorant of the law just cruise on through the red arrow as if it weren't even there.

Some like to exercise their electrical noise-making safety device because they are annoyed at someone actually waiting for the red arrow to turn green.

first a toot. then two toots. then a blast. (some skip the first two stages of protest and go directly to the blast)

uneducated dolts..

it's on the driving test.

(maybe not the KMart version)

While I never tired it, I know some guys would take an old skylight filter and just smear petroleum jelly on it, leaving the center clean, to get that sort of effect.

Yep.
But then u had to carry Vaseline around with u, and always had a finger u couldn't get clean and a gooey filter.
On a hot day that stuff just runs all over the place.
Ewww.

Love these-very effective device!!! Any chance you'd share how you did it_with what? Like maybe a bottle bottom???

These are tops to old filter cases, drilled and filed to create different shapes and sizes of openings.

Depending on the focal length of lense and the aperture used, many different effects can be created.

You've seen some of my flowers. Here are couple of pics of a bride in different versions.

Thanks for the question.

Thanks for the look-in.

Though about taking the post out but the hose bib is there and as we oldies remember, back in the day, when you went to a SERVICE STATION you actually got SERVICE.
There was always a hose close at hand for filling radiators that were low on water or overheated.
