Some say this Coronavirus was in existence in China during late November of 2019. By around late December, it is claimed a Chinese doctor had alerted the government about this virus. That doctor apparently was silenced by the government, and later died of the virus. Early January 2020, is when it was fully known by the World Health Organization, and the CDC. And the US government was alerted. It, has been said that if China had alerted the World Nations about this Coronavirus, when it was known to be dangerous, that it may have been easier to eliminate it. It also appears that the virus does not discriminate by age either. Some college students on Spring Break, partying on a Florida beach, contracted the Coronavirus just days ago. They are in isolation. This Coronavirus has changed my everyday life, in my community. Schools and Libraries are closed, you can't sit in a restaurant and have dinner. Only take out and delivery. After, visiting several stores, and driving nearly 90 miles, I finally was able to get a 12 pack of toilet paper. But, there were no eggs, and only a few loaves of bread left on the shelves. And now it is causing massive unemployment. And that will have a negative impact on our economy. Trying to stay healthy, and people not having a job, is an interesting mix. Something, I never envisioned. Now, the US Federal Reserve, is bracing for this disaster, by sending out checks, to taxpayers. To help quell the economic suffering. $1.6 Trillion worth. And, some say that will not be enough? If the situation doesn't get any better. I'm hoping this will be behind us. As soon as it can be possible. I have not been tested for this Coronavirus. For years, I have had allergies, and take medicine for it today. But, I have no fever or coughs, Time will tell.

You are correct. That's even better. An additional 30 days.

I found a lot of confusion in the categories when I was looking for a bridge camera. My reference to a point and shoot camera was picked up in the filter section of camera sellers websites. My thought is that they do not have exchangeable lenses and have a lot of automatic settings. Very similar to what I think of a bridge camera. I don't know what their definition is for these terms.

My Nikon Bridge camera is a fixed zoom lens. Pocket cameras the same. I've never seen, nor heard of an interchangeable lens Bridge camera.

Is there a mirrorless camera out there or on the horizon that would be considered a point and shoot camera?

I have had my eye on the Panasonic zs200 for an easy carry travel camera with a decent zoom, but wasn't sure if I might be missing a better alternative. Thoughts? Suggestions?

As some have said previously, all point and shoot cameras are mirrorless. A point and shoot, IMO, is a camera without a viewfinder. You use the LCD screen to frame your photo. Just like a smartphone. My 5 year old Nikon Bridge camera, the L840, with a LCD screen, has no viewfinder. I consider it a point and shoot camera. A Sony RX10iv is a high quality Bridge camera, with a viewfinder. But, I have never heard it classified as a point and shoot camera? Some pocket cameras fall in the same category.

The problem also lies with stores, that don't put limits on how much toilet paper you can buy. I have traveled nearly 90 miles in my car searching for toilet paper. I had to go to Walmart yesterday, to buy some stomach OTC medicine remedies. While there, I decided to go to the toilet paper aisle, to see if they had any toilet paper. Low and behold, there was some available. But, instead of putting them on the shelves, Walmart had a worker to distribute them straight from the box. One package of 12 rolls per customer. Kudos to my Walmart for doing that. I had purchased earlier, elsewhere, some paper towels. But, two uhh members told me that paper towels are unacceptable for flushing, even tearing them in quarters, because they don't dissolve. And, I could be looking at calling a plumber, to unstop my toilet. 12 rolls is enough for two people, for a while. No panic. I saw on TV that someone stole an18 wheeler, that was full of toilet paper. Fortunately, the stolen truck was found by a Sheriff Deputy in Guilford County, North Carolina. It was loaded with industrial grade toilet paper, used in business restrooms, schools, etc.

That was for the 5ds, I was wondering if it was also the same for the 5DMIV. Anyway, thanks. One less thing to have to replace....

Yes, also the 5D Mark 4.

There is no internal clock battery in the 5D Mark 4. It uses a capacitor that is charged by the main battery. Just as you were told.

Sports Organizations are having a growing disagreement, with the International Olympics Committee, insistence of still having the Summer Olympics in Japan. This Coronavirus has cost lives and the economy of many countries. Especially the USA. The money lost from the Olympics will be devastating.

the flush is not complete just because you can't see it anymore...sooner or later somewhere they gonna cause a backup...just saying....plain & simple they don't dissolve quickly!!!

I guess I'll have to see if I can get toilet paper. The paper towels I have are the cheap thin ones. I'll tear into quarters, until I go to my supermarket tomorrow. Early when they open. Maybe I'll get lucky?

Same in Florida. Have talked to folks I know in other states, same thing. Most pics have been empty shelves.. The logistical supply chains here in the US are about one-to-1.5 weeks deep, so any rush on the stores, or sudden onslaught of hoarding gives us empty shelves everywhere.

Florida hadn't yet "stocked up" for hurricane season (too early) so the warehouses and indeed factory output were not prepared for this....The producers of the goods are said to be ramping up, and many retailers are trying to hire small armies of folks to move goods, but it will take a while to catch up..... and we too had to buy industrial rolls of paper towels (at least they are soft ones!!!) non-flushable, as there is no toilet paper...This pandemic has scared the sxxx out of the public!!!

Guns and ammo are flying off the shelves too, guess some are much more scared than others. Did somebody say zombies are coming!!!! LOL The country boys are talking fishing and hunting - they might fish throughout the whole mess, but the amount of game in Florida wouldn't last long with 20 million to feed...... even a million alligators won't go far, and the damn pythons are hard to find/catch. Anyway, neighbors have to care and watch out for each other, and keep our calm. Stay safe and good luck to all!!
Same in Florida. Have talked to folks I know in ot... (show quote)

Yes, gun shops are selling out of guns and ammo. In California, you can only buy one handgun per month. A waiting time is enforced for both handguns and ammo, for a background investigation. California, has one of the strictest gun laws in the nation. But, people are buying guns, because they don't know how bad this will get. And, regardless of any catastrophe, the criminals and thieves will always be in existence.

dont flush em...unless you want a visit from plumber!!!!

I plan to tear the paper towels sheets in half. I did a test flush on one torn sheet, and the flushing was complete. No, I don't want to call the plumber. Especially, what they charge nowadays.

I am not a Sony hater. I own two Nikon cameras. A DSLR and a Bridge camera. The third camera I own is a Sony Cypershot 20 megapixels pocket camera. I have a friend who owns a Sony a6000 crop sensor camera. I doubt I will replace my Nikon DSLR to go mirrorless, Sony or otherwise. I would upgrade to another Nikon. But, when it comes to Bridge and pocket cameras. I would choose Sony over Nikon. The Sony RX10iv and the RX100 series are excellent cameras. And, hard to beat.

The Italians have suffered greatly from this Coronavirus disease. Losing several hundreds in just one day. The hospitals there are overwhelmed. If, there are to be any depressing photos, to view for historical purposes, the Italian photographers will have many to show. The most depressing Pandemic photos to view, and hopefully never repeated, are the B&W photos of the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic. War photos, in cities, and towns, also give us a perspective, of how awful life can be, as a result from it. The camera reveals it all. Good or bad. I can't find toilet paper for two weeks now, in densely populated Southern California. Where consumer products are the most plentiful in the State. I had to settle for paper towels, which are better than having nothing at all. And lucky to get it.

Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Federal Government has extended filing your Income Tax for 60 days. Due to massive layoffs of mostly small businesses, and a strain on hospitals and medical centers, the stimulant checks, will be delivered to taxpayers before the filing deadline.
