Beautiful set.
Did you have issues with tourists elbowing you and getting in front of you when you captured the "blue domes"?

No issues. We were there towards the end of their season so there were very few crowded areas. I would not go there in the summer. Very hot and crowded. This was the perfect time to go.

I've visited Santorini many times, it is a stunning island for photography. Next time pop over to Mykonos, that too is a beautiful island.

Lucian, we spent 4 days on Mykonos prior to the 5 days on Santorini. Lots of photos from there as well. Beautiful islands.

My wife and I were fortunate to travel for 30 days in Europe. We spent 5 days in Oia, Santorini, Greece. We had a spectacular view from our hotel across the caldera and witnessed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The island is full of photo opportunities. I grabbed a shot of my wife in the infinity pool of our hotel just before sunset. A special moment for sure. This romantic island is a photographer's paradise.

Well done but I wish you would have flipped them

I'm going to try to put one or two in FS and see if I can flipped just the image in the globe. Should be a nice effect. Thanks

Very cool. Could be a cheap "fish-eye" lens if you crop tight. Though I like the entire image as is for most of you photographs there.

I would imagine manual focus? And some experimenting with F-stops?

Yes, manual focus on most. Many shot at f/4. A few at f/16. Thanks for checking them out.

Yes, I've seen that done before as well. I'll have to try to put one of the images in PS and experiment.

They are definitely heavier than I expected but I was at a hotel and just needed to carry to the beach. Not too bad.

My son sent me a crystal ball to experiment with new shooting effects. This was shot in St. Petersburg at The Don CeSar Hotel. I was pleased with the results especially with the sunsets. Still not sure which is my favorite. Shot with Nikon D-850, 70-200 2.8.

Driving through Northern Italy it seemed every corner turned was more breathtaking than the last. Couldn't resist stopping and capturing these scenes. Beautiful part of the world.

Very nice and I'm right there with you on all the negativity. I've all but quit watching the news because of it and just the way the news agencies report the news. The old saying: "If it bleeds, it leads!" sure is true.

Thanks for the compliment. I've found I'm in a much better mood just by turning off news and going outside with my camera. So many more beautiful things to observe.

Thanks. Appreciate the compliment and checking them out. Yes, we're on west coast of FL (Gulf) side. I have see the green flash but only once. We don't get to the beach sunsets as often as we'd like.

Is Rob 47 & 48 related?

Thanks for checking the photos out. Appreciate it. In answer to your question, NO, not related. Just a coincidence.
