I admit I'm at a loss for words, I love widefield images. There is so much in the image that sucks you in , like you're part of the image of Cygnus. KUDOS Marc!
I feel that I've been caught in the dark ages for about a month now with all these clouds, it was clear last night till 10 then the sea rolled in ruining my guiding. I enjoy your images bwana, awesome.
Nice indeed , what a catch!
That's wonderful ! paying dividends is what it's all about Sonny. I've got several targets to put into photoshop and get the tweaking done . Processing is the time consumer, finding the time to do it is the problem I'm having. Keep gathering those photons Sonny.
I've been getting smoke alerts from that damn Canuk fire, it has got me so upset "it's bad enugh from the latino's behind me in the woods next to the RR traks. I want my cake all to myself without everyone else messing up the atmosphere.
Hey Sonny, I'm glad you stuck it out. I've been through "everything that could happen , happened ! It's all about having fun and enjoying capturing photons . The processing is a whole other beast to deal with and the guys on the hog really help out. M13 is a nice choice to test on, lots of stars. Keep the faith buddy.
Swa, bright targets are better when you live with a lot of light pollution causing neighbors . When I first moved here I was taken by the lack of light pollution moving from the boonies {foothills}to the piedmont but, then subdivisions started going in everywhere 9,000 pop. and now it's over 12,000. I'm going to have to buy a mtn. to get away from it all. My narrowband filters take care of the light pollution but, it doesn't help with the rgb color channels that I have to take less than half the time as I do with the narrowband filters. I tell ya , take what you have and do what you can with it cause the neighbors aren't going to appreciate what your trying to accomplish.
Swa, we've had some pretty miserable weather lately. I live in a sm. town Orange zone with neighbors that are disrespectful and afraid of the dark, at least my neighbor that lives on the scope side of my house turns his outside porch 300 watt light out and shuts his door when I'm imaging.
The nights for the last week have been cloudy and rainy, which helps the garden but, very little for my endeavors Marc. I'm trying to get some processing done , I've got 2 targets ready to go in photoshop.
That's cool Marc I like the nebulosity and that wispiness ? I've been out just not as much as I would like so far and now here comes the heat.
Alright Sonny!, awesome images . Trial and error is the name of the game , I've got everything running good, now I've got to clean the camera again from all the pollen and crud in the air and what better time than when the rain is coming. Keep it up Sonny
James, those are some splendid images of the aurora borealis. Well done.
I enjoy looking at your awesome sun images, our sun has a lot going on.
That's an impressive widefield Marc, I didn't even realize that area had whisps of cosmic cloud throughout. That's really cool friend, keep them coming. Gotta love this equipment used to capture these jewels.
I love the plums Brian, Hot ejections indeed.
