LOL!! This is what happens to me. I swear every mosquito in the neighborhood thinks my name is food. My neighbor often invites me to sit out on the porch and I have cans of repellent that I spray myself with before I go over yet, somehow, some mosquito finds that tiny little patch of skin I missed with the spray.
You will be in my prayers!! I agree with AJFRED that you should go now. I helped my neighbor through her recovery when she had knee replacement and she had it rough. I would have been in a mess trying to get her out if there was a hurricane coming here. She was in so much pain and all movements sent bolts of pain through her. An evacuation trip would have been torture. If you go now, you can take your time and stop as you need to instead of having to go as fast as you can to get away.
'08 Vette Coupe. Can't frive any ore (vision), so it is now in opossesion of my s-i-l on the coast of NC. Wife's knees not conducive to ingress/egress of a Vette.
Sorry you had to give up your toy. I bet it was a heck of a ride.
I have a Goldwing and an FJR 1300. The top case is where I put the camera gear on the Goldwing and I don't use anything other than the regular camera bag my equipment is kept/carried in. My Tamron 150-600 lens (in its padded case) and tripod go into a saddle bag and I put the bike's rain cover in first for extra heat protection. There has never been any problems with any of the equipment and the farthest it's been has been from NC to Vermont, New Hampshire and a quick dip into Maine and back to NC.
I don't take long trips on the FJR because it's too uncomfortable and there are only side bags on it. I have to use a smaller bag and take less equipment but I've never had any issues.
If you will check Steve Perry's website or his YouTube channel he just did a video a week ago about not losing your photos. He talks about how he backs up his photos and talks about the advantages of SSD drives vs regular hard drives including their durability.
You can try contacting him either here on UHH or on his website if you have any questions that aren't answered by the video.
Very nice!!! It's nice to see these 2 planes together showing how much advancement has been made in aero technology. When you see what we have today it's almost hard to believe that those old planes were able to do the jobs they did (and in some cases....are still doing)
I love prop planes; there is just something about the sound they make.
