I have the older, but similar Tamron 18-270. It's made two trips to Europe and has been used on thousands of photos. Not the fastest lens, but the combination of wide range and light weight make it a very good walking-around lens.

I have the same lens (18-270) and agree with the comments above. Mine has been to Africa and it performed well as a lightweight all-around lens. My one experience with Tamron's customer service on a warranty issue was not good. For that reason, I would not buy another Tamron lens.

The Fuji 16-80 would seem to be the perfect travel lens. Lightweight, compact, and according to multiple reviews, excellent performance. I'm just not willing to buy one at $800. So for now I'll wait until they go on sale and be happy with the excellent 18-55mm.

Pretty hard to offer a price without seeing them. Do they even exist?

Just got this lens from eBay.
I like it so far.
Any comments?

I have the same lens on an A6000 and have been very pleased with it. No complaints.

If the exposure problems persist I would try a total reset of the camera to factory settings.

"Don't take this wrong but your male cardinals are to the orange side and your camera has lost a lot of feather detail when it processed your shots the blue jay is also washed out..."

"I have been shooting cardinals for 7 years. Your male cardinal is to red I have never seen a cardinal that red in real life! The vast vast majority have a orange tint! The blue jay is absolutely not washed out!"

You guys are obviously viewing his photos on different computers with different color setups. One sees red, the other sees orange. One sees the blue jay washed out...the other one does not. I wonder if both of you are looking at the same photo?
