This is just so beautiful I am sure old hippy would love it just like we all do

Thanks.

I can just imagine Ed sitting there in a garden, ready to rise and go flower-shooting for our enjoyment.

I just want to be clear: this is a composite of the pics from SHOOTIST'S images at the beginning of this thread.

I just did some PP.

If you are appreciating the pp,

Thank You, all.

Driving across Kansas on rt 36 on a frosty early morning. Just before dawn I passed this old farmhouse and had to whip around to take a few shots. As I had recently purchased an HDR program I did three shot bursts at one stop intervals to see what I could do with the program. My aim was to get the farmhouse as true to what I was seeing as possible. That slightly exaggerated the sky but not too much. The Great Plains can really do a show with sunrise/sunset scenes without much help.

No 1 was using the HDR program.
No 2 was minimally processed using PhotoNinja and GIMP.
What do you think?

thanks, Linda.

I enjoyed Ed's flower work, as I'm married to a master gardener and spend a great deal of time enjoying her work and wandering through with a camera.

I post a lot under the topic: Judy's Gardens.

Ed and I shared many photos of our flowers through PM.

I knew for some time that he was not well.

If he is no longer with us, he will be missed by many.

77 and 5 months.

I go to an outing annually with some of my high school classmates.
I attend hoping to renew friendships and find out who's doing what.

Every year I'm surprised to find myself in the midst of a bunch of OLD PEOPLE!

(I believe this may have started happening when I was in my 30s)

I want to thank all who have looked at my stuff with approval.

We all like to have our efforts appreciated.

Dropping in a few more.

I'm really enjoying all the creativity and skills on display here.

mrbill.
