Thanks everyone for commenting and enjoying this series! It was fun watching that goose talking to it's partner...ok maybe yelling at it's partner...or is it love talk...lol!

Saw a Pileated Woodpecker on the pine tree in my yard, then went to go over to the pond to see if the Sandhill Cranes were here yet...nope..but a Tundra Swan, Ring-neck Ducks, Mallards and some Canada Geese were at the pond...was a fun afternoon spent behind the camera.

I have been hearing owls in our pasture for the last couple of weeks but have not been able to find them until tonight! Hope they stick around and nest close so I can get some shots of babies!

Not the best sharpness but I had to dust off my old Nikon D5300 and Tamron G1 150-600 lens and it was starting to get dark but I'm excited to get the shots and see the owls finally! My normal setup is a Nikon D500 and Nikor 200-500 lens but they are in the shop at the moment.

Hope you get it back better than new.

Does your hubby like it when you run around that way?

He is probably going to try and hide my camera when it does come back...just so I still run around this way!!

I wish only the best for you… and hope that Nikon does such a good job that the camera/lens operate at near the perfection of a Canon.

That's hilarious...thanks for a good chuckle!

I accept all, regardless of camera affiliation. However, I’m somewhat partial to those of the Canon persuasion.

I might be outnumbered on here! But I'm gonna hold my head up high and ...and....hide...
