I fill my tires with acetylene.

That's great, then you can check for a leaky valve stem with a match

Ahhh the old Rt 30 bridge (now Rt 462 bridge) over the
Susquehanna connecting Wrightsville, PA and Columbia, PA.

Your imagery is beautiful on this one!

Thank you for viewing and your reply. I live less than a mile from that bridge.
As a child I rode my bicycle across many times and when I worked I crossed it twice a day for 42 years.
I have taken hundreds of pictures of it. The best one was taken in 1969 with a Asahi Pentax Spotmatic purchased in Thailand during the Vietnam war. If I manage to find it i'll scan it and post it.

These Laws/Rules vary from State to State

My major gripe involving flashing lights is their use on Roll Back "Wreckers" once loaded and driving down the highway, they are no longer an Emergency Vehicle!! they are just another truck transporting a piece of whatever.
When I drove Wreckers the only reason to have your Flashing lights on was if whatever you were towing was not tracking straight behind you, and you were/are supposed to have a lightbar with taillights, turn signals and brake lights attached to the rear of the towed vehicle, especially after dark.
These Laws/Rules vary from State to State br br M... (show quote)

I AGREE!

They all say that. Try a tankful or two. Your engine will let you know. If it pings at all go back to premium. The guy who first told me about this many years ago was a service manager at new car dealership and knew a lot.

Okay, thank you

Actually, in most cases a car will just as well on regular. I haven't put premium gas in a car for about 20 years.
I have a 2002 Mercedes V8 that's run on regular since I got it without any problems.
The key is regular oil changes (synthetic oil) and tunes ups.

Thank you for your response. I have a 2014 Mercedes SUV V8 the owners manual states reg gas will damage the engine. I've am concerned about trying regular. Maybe i'll give it a try.

Great video, great cars and gas was $.28 a gallon

Thanks for your response. I could use cheaper gas today. I have to use premium in my car.

Great video. My mom and dad had a Shasta trailer they towed with a 1959 Chevrolet Impala station wagon. They’re gone now, as is the trailer and the Chevy, but this video reminded me of them and our road trips together. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you for viewing. Those were great times.

Was surprised at the clarity of the photos, as many from that era are soft-focus at best. Brings back memories of road trips my family made in our '59 Plymouth station wagon from '62-'66, to many of those locations. 5 brothers and I all with brush-cuts; those were the days. I was the family photographer with my trusty Kodak Signet 40. still have it, still works. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for viewing It brought back memories for me too.
