Just saw that you are fellow San Antonian on your Neuschwanstein post - maybe we'll run across each other dragging cameras around town... :-D
Great photo! Interesting story about Neuschwanstein that actually involves a camera -- when I was stationed in Augsburg, Germany, I took the obligatory tour of the castle. As Longarm knows, it is quite a hike from the parking lot to the castle entrance. About half way up the hill, there is an imbiss stand (bratwurst, pretzels, drinks, etc.) I stopped at the stand and then took a leisurely walk up to the castle. As soon as I reached the castle, I reached for my camera only to realize that I had left it sitting on the imbiss stand counter! I don't know how many records I broke running back down the hill! I was shocked to find it sitting exactly where I left it. And THAT is the difference in being in Germany and some of the other countries where I was stationed....

So show me your "Flowers".........
Thanks for the challenge!
We tend to lean toward our woodpeckers as the favorite, but the best catch so far was a pair of crested caracaras that I managed to catch on a fly-by. We are up to 21 species in our backyard so far this year.
Thanks, Paladin. Getting harder and harder to nail focus with these old eyes...

Beautiful shot! Are you going to be sharing shots of the upcoming Fiesta parades?
Thanks, Mike! I don't usually brave the downtown crowds for Fiesta, but I'll have the camera handy if we have anything close...
