Paczki! Never found them with apricot. Likely would be my favorite.
Sometimes, a lighthouse fares better with this background rather than sea, sky, and rocks. A very good photo!
We took a trip out East with the kids. Don't know if they remember or what they remember... I was certainly impressed by, not only Gettysburg, but stopping at Valley Forge on the way to NYC. I forget all the places we took the kids, including this one. Thank you for bringing back some memories!
Love the last one — B/W....
I love the first picture, very nice!
It got me looking at bricks & walls... Time to take the camera out with a little Pink Floyd in the mind...
Quite a few years ago, the kids & I were fortunate to see Old Faithful backlit by a full moon. It’ll have to remain one of my favorite memories as I didn’t have my camera at hand...
If you're driving through New Brunswick, Saint John is a lovely old town with some interesting & photogenic sites, including Reversing Falls. Near Moncton there is Magnetic Hill which is kind of a kick and needn't take too long. I believe there was some wine country near where one passes into Nova Scotia. We stayed in Truro to see the tidal bore, at a motel right on the edge (but that was in 1981). It came through at 2:00 am, and a few people actually came out and watched it... In Truro, there is also Victoria Park which is a real nice spot to hike and take pictures.
Reminds me of the time I was asked to videotape my nephews high school graduation... I got up to speed on the video camera, but somewhere along the line I lost synch. I did a wonderful job interviewing guest, and all. But when we played it back—when it was on I thought it was off and when it was off it was on. Needless to say... I got many active shots of peoples feet and not too many of the graduate.
