My daughter, son-in-law (and grandchild) are taking my wife and me to Disney World, next month. I'm going largely to please my wife and kids but it's been 30 years since I took my kids there and a whole lot has changed since then. Gone are the days of walking up to the ticket booth and buying a ticket; everything's electronic and reserved ahead of time. Luckily, my kids have taken care of lodging, park tickets, rides and restaurants.

My question is what camera to take, if any? I have a Nikon D5600 (heavy & bulky), a Sony HX400V (lightweight and a little bulky) and, of course, an iPhone (no weight & no bulk). I'm not looking at this as a photography adventure and my wife can just as easily take snapshots to document our vacation as I can.

So I'm asking anyone who's been there: Is having a camera slung across your shoulder worth it? Or is a camera problematic when going on rides, walking around the various theme parks, etc.?

18-270mm= 27-405mm equivalent focal
10-20mm= 15-30mm equivalent focal
You need both for Scotland, especially the 15-30mm

Hi Everyone ..
With so many raw file types now .
I use adobe DNG converter on Olympus and Lumix .
This does a good job .. but am left with 2 raw files .
the DNG and the original .
The original is no good to me as PS wont recognize it ..

Do people delete the original Raw files and keep the DNG .
Or keep both ?

By the way , am I losing quality by converting to DNG ?
Thanks

Raw files are my negatives so I store them with my jpgs.

Do they buy just to be hip but never use them and go back to the standard range zoom lens after a couple of hours leaving the pancake on the shelf collecting dust?

Great walk around on my D850. What I love; 40mm angle of view and a hard stop at infinity.

Your purchase is guaranteed by eBay.

No, "purchase is guaranteed" is not honored in my case and rightfully so.
They are only going to give your money back if they can take it from the seller.
In this case the seller did nothing wrong and should not be charged.

From what I understand signature verification would be best but if you ask for it it still may not be purchased by the seller.. also hard to ask for with "buy it now".. not full proof, still next time I will think twice before I do without it.

Insurance would be great but only covers the seller and only the seller can purchase shipping insurance? Also hard to ask for with "buy it now" it's either offered or not.. not full proof. I will not look to pay for this if I don't have to in the future.

Thanks for all the comments and helpful insights!

Deliveries are usually photographed where they left it. With that photo I would file fifth charges against my neighbor. Take a photo of his porch compared to the one they sent you and that proves it was left at his house.

You also have the GPS showing their house. Either way I'd file theft charges against your neighbor get the GPS information file the police report first.
Good luck.

No photo taken, GPS is where the mail truck was when package was scanned.

Interesting that you won't sell your book outside of the Continental United States. A good portion of the Arctic is in Alaska. I would imagine you would get some interest in the book if you widened your horizons.

Will ship anywhere but cost outside lower 48 will be added. Thanks Swany
