Hi all, I'd like to get some user feedback on what I would consider to be entry-level dslr monitors (i.e. Feelworld, Andycine, Neewer, etc.). I'm using a D7200 for both still and video work but having suffered a loss of vision in my right eye, I think the external screen would be a help.
Recommendations, pro & con, and user experience would be a great help. Thanks in advance for your comments.
Thanks - Jeff

Thanks for the advice. Will try it. We also have a lot of crows, hawks and even eagles that are either in our development and/or nearby. I think they might be keeping the smaller birds away. But a jar of PB is an easy fix.
Thx

Great photos. All I see in Middletown are red winged blackbirds and cowbirds despite 3 feeders in my backyard. Send some of these beauties up DuPont Hwy so we can share in the enjoyment :)

Great shot. Where in the Garden State did you see him? Last spring (i.e. Pre-COVID), I was in the Ramapo Reserve and saw a mature eagle up one of the trails. He looked like he was posing his delighted audience. Wish I had brought my camera but the boss said we were there to walk and enjoy the surroundings, not to stop every 10ft to take a picture.

As a Family Medicine doc who worked in the US, Canada, and France, everything we've seen here speaks to the fact that our healthcare system is broken.
As was mentioned, the same medication made by the same manufacturer but in a different country costs a fraction of what it costs here. In addition, the price can vary greatly across different pharmacies and even if you buy it online or in a brick and mortar store of the same brand. And while some states allow and even require hospitals to post pricing for treatments, most do not and it is nearly impossible to find out your predicted costs prior to receiving care.
No, you are not going to ask what care will cost if it is an emergency, but elective surgery is the predominant kind of surgery and is viewed as a "profit center" along with lab and X-ray tests on the outpatient level. Also, you really should ask if everyone who is going to provide care (i.e. for surgery, does the anesthesiologist take your
insurance? You'd be surprised how many do not).
In the US, we pay nearly $10,000 per person for healthcare, the highest in the world. France is ranked No 1 and their annual cost is a little over $4000. And just to show where we rank (source WHO), the US is #37 between Costa Rica and Slovenia.

The actual cost of te medication is pennies. What makes it expensive is that the drug companies can repatent it each time they change the delivery method. Probably the most egregious example of this was the EpiPen scandal a few years back when the manufacturer up the price to ~ $600 while the syringe held epinephrine valued on the order of $0.50.
As a doc, I tell my patients to use tools like GoodRx fo rchronic meds, look to the Canadian pharmacies. You will need your physician to write the prescription and while it takes up to 2 weeks or more for the first order to arrive, the savings can be quite substantial as I found out from personal experience for both my wife and me.

I worked for HP until this past summer and can tell you that HP is pushing AMD due to both cost and the availability of Intel chips. While for most applications, both brands work equally well and in some case, AMD outperforms Intel, but some software simply does not like AMD. I would check to see if your favorite software tools have any specific needs that AMD might find to be a problem. Better safe than sorry.

I offered my 12 yo granddaughter a Nikon PS for her birthday. She said she'd rather have a new cellphone. She has no problem using my D7200 but she'd rather carry a single device in her back pocket.
I guess its like when I got rid of my darkroom (Beseler Dichro 67, tanks, etc.) for an Adobe Photoshop subscription and a new color printer. Sad to see it go but honestly no regrets.

Hi, I have a Sawyer Carousel projector and need to go through boxes of my slides. If these would fit the Sawyer, I'd be more than happy to buy some from you. I saw you go between Myrtle Beach and NE and I live off I-95 in Delaware so could meet you at the Delaware Rest Stop when you are heading up on your next trip.
Thanks and Happy New Year - Jeff G.

Welcome et soyez le bienvenue. Used to live in Tours (I&L 37000) and go home every few years to see family and friends. Plus having a glass (or 2 ) of Vouvray is not bad either

Reminds me of my days hanging out on the Boardwalk. Had a house in Maryland Ave and then moved to Oceanside. Great memories. Thanks for posting!
