All CPU fans blow into the CPU heatsink although the fan used here is not provided by the CPU manf but by Dell. It is probably also blowing into the htsk. Couple of problems with it though is that although it is a large fan there is little room on either side of it due to the narrow case design. Anything you can do to remove, suck, air from the case (as long as there is also a place for fresh air to get into the case) will be better than nothing. Not having the case in front of me it is hard what to suggest. I suspect the side of the case, over the CPU, has holes in it to allow air to be sucked in.
You won't like these suggestions but if it was mine I would mount externally fans at front and rear to suck/blow as needed to make more air flow through the box. I might even mount a 3rd fan on the side over blowing even more air into the CPU. I suspect whatever you do will will probably make more air flow over the HDD. It is not just PC boxes that frequently require more airflow inside so I have become somewhat of an expert at doing it. Note I am more interested in longevity rather than 'looks'. I would also note that mounting stuff effectively will cause issues if you need warranty repairs (to fix problems that you want to mount fans for) as Dell won't be very happy. Dell would also have used the cheapest HDDs they can find.
I can't recommend highly enough that do not scrimp on box size.

Many years ago a friend mentioned that he sees a whole lot less problems with computers that have large cases then he does with the small ones. He repaired computers for a living. Makes sense, after all, it takes more heat to heat a large box, to a given temp., then it does to heat a small box.

Services from USPS, UPS, and Fed-Ex have really gone down hill. I understand they all handle a huge amount of packages, and some items will get lost or damaged. But, they have become less and less reliable.
A year and a half ago FedEx lost a very expensive camera, luckily Canon replaced it with a new on. They also delivered a 6’ custom window shade that was bent like a boomerang! One would think if it was damaged before
being loaded someone would have reported it. On the other hand, if it was damaged while on the truck, the driver not have left it causing me a big headache trying to get a replacement, which thankfully after 6 weeks I got the replacement.
UPS, has also lost and damaged a few packages too.
USPS, from my experience is the worse. They have lost and mis-delivered more packages than the other two combined. Training to contact any of them is impossible.
My newest dilemma is with USPS, and UPS Innovations. 3 weeks ago I purchased 2 expensive item, the seller who 95 miles away, shipped them the next day. The item took 4 days to get to a location 65 miles south of me.
And there they sat. Tracking says it left there 2 weeks ago, and that’s it.
I was actually lucky to contact the USPS where the packages were last at. The representative told me it’s out of their hands, and in the possession of UPS Innovations, and to contact them. I could reach them, and their website doesn’t recognize my USPS tracking number, but yet the PO does. The seller will either replace the items, or give me a refund.
It’s been a very frustrating experience, and if the top three delivery services make contacting impossible, then who else can you rely on.
Thanks for letting me rant, and take care of yourselves.

I ordered $9 dollars worth of small antenna parts and got an e-mail saying they had been delivered. Several days later I went to the USPS office and they said they show it was delivered on my block (somewhere). I checked the mailbox next door (no one lives there) and found it, along with three other envelopes! Bank statement, credit card statement, stuff the neighbors don't need to see. I don't know if it was legal to take my mail out of the box next door but.....maybe someone can enlighten me.
I've had lots of problems with couriers lately.

I have 5 new kittens (squatters) and Mom on my back deck. I'll have to set them up for pictures like these.

Not my favorite way to make a composite, though. You have much more control if you do it in Photoshop. But multiple exposures in-camera have a character and quality that is different than using Blend Modes in Photoshop.

This is sooo cool. Well done.

Five other lenses and 3 cameras had sold during the sale.

I stopped by just as they were shutting down on Sunday. They dropped the prices to $250/$100/$150.

I offered $350 for the lot and we settled at $400 if they all mounted, focused, and metered. They did.

Thank you for the comment. I had no idea either and I mean NONE. That is why I posted it. How it ever became something of a political post is far beyond my comprehension. But then again I try to stick with common sense.

Yikes! My friend sent this from a co-worker. I don’t know how true it is but his wife is a nurse at Cedars. And my sister, who is a retired nurse practitioner, agrees with this.

From a source . . .

Not to scare you/ but allows u to see the other side of going out unmasked/without a shield:

Here you go folks... for those people who don't understand what it means to be on a ventilator but want to take the chance of going out without a mask...

For starters, it's NOT an oxygen mask put over the mouth while the patient is comfortably lying down and reading magazines. Ventilation for Covid-19 is a painful intubation that goes down your throat and stays there until you live or you die.

It is done under anesthesia for 2 to 3 weeks without moving, often upside down, with a tube inserted from the mouth up to the trachea and allows you to breathe to the rhythm of the lung machine. The patient can't talk or eat, or do anything naturally - the machine keeps you alive.

The discomfort and pain they feel from this means medical experts have to administer sedatives and painkillers to ensure tube tolerance for as long as the machine is needed. It's like being in an artificial coma.

After 20 days from this treatment, a young patient loses 40% muscle mass, and gets mouth or vocal cords trauma, as well as possible pulmonary or heart complications.

It is for this reason that old or already weak people can't withstand the treatment and die. Many of us are in this boat ... so stay safe unless you want to take the chance of ending up here. This is NOT the flu.

Add a tube into your stomach, either through your nose or skin for liquid food, a sticky bag around your butt to collect the diarrhea, a foley catheter to collect urine, an IV for fluids and meds, an A-line f to monitor your BP that is completely dependent upon finely calculated med doses, teams of nurses, CRNA’s and MA’s to reposition your limbs every two hours and lying on a mat that circulates ice cold fluid to help bring down your 104 degree temp.

-Anyone want to try all that out? Stay home and wear a mask when you go out! Stay safe and well!-

What this article doesn't say, is that the patient can hear everything that is said so if the staff carelessly talks about death, the patient panics. If the sedatives are lessened, the patient panics because he can't breath or talk or, in his case, move. When they begin to lower the pain medications, the patient screams in his head but can't make a sound. When they take out the tubes it's extremely uncomfortable. A trachea may replace the respirator, the patient still can't talk or eat without a tube.

Your child, your spouse, your parent, suffers from covid 19 alone in the hospital. The victims are not limited to strangers. When you choose to crowd, unmasked, into newly opened stores for some irrelevant purchase, ask yourself if it's worth a lifetime of knowing your child suffered, maybe died, alone.

Saturday 4/25/2020, about 7:30 PM, looking east from a high point in the Flint Hills of Kansas, called the Cattle Pens, along the Kansas turnpike. I think this was the brightest rainbow I have witnessed.

The Flint Hills are range-land used for cattle. Every fall the ranchers drive their herds uphill to a group of cattle pens alongside the KS Turnpike. From there they are easily loaded into trucks.

Great shot,
I've been there many times.
