I have a Sony RX M III and an A 6000 . I am looking for an external flash for Sony cameras, just for traveling and for large group photography in low light.
I have heard about Godox flashes, would you provide me more info and advices about mini flashes ? Thank you.

Thanks. Good to know. I have TV, computer, and phone through the cable company. If I drop one feature, I lose the discount, so any savings could evaporate.

Now the it is more popular the price of the equipment has come down. I believe I paid 100-150 at that time. But it has paid for itself many times over...

I am a newbie and just bought my first dslr, a Nikon d750. I have watched a number of videos that say a 28-300 mm lens is a great walk around lens. I also have family that has that range lens but on a dx body. I don't have a lot of money to spend and am looking at the Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 av lens. My kit lens is the Nikon 24-120 f4g so I cannot see duplicating that with the 28-300 mm lens. The only issue is carrying 2 lenses as opposed to one. The Nikon 24-120 is a great lens and the reviews on the Tamron 70-300 mm lens are great. I am starting from scratch so thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Take a look at the 28-300mm (Nikon is $900+ or Tamron $600).. You may find a used or refurbished one. You can always sell the 24-120mm. I have both and use both at different times depending on the situation. Check the reviews for both and you can base your decision on those.. Good luck..

Thank you so much, I have it and I am now playing with it.
It's my first time.
Any suggestions on other improvements?

Just keep playing....move sliders around and see what effect they give. You can always do a reset and start over...

Can anyone tell me an easy way to fix it?
Thank you.

Tamron makes only one E-mount zoom, the 18-200mm. I'll have to rethink this.

I believe I have this lens (like isaid..Been a while since I used my A6000)...It is a good lens but does focus a little slow in low lit conditions. There seems to be a firmware fix.. I just need to take a look again...I really like the A6000 but just not enough lenses out there for it...

Yeah, I think I made a mistake. I read so many reviews about so many lenses, that I might have ordered the wrong lens. Oh, well. Amazon has easy returns. If only Sony was like Nikon - all lenses fit all DSLRs.

Yes that would be nice... I need to use my A6000 more...But it sure would be nice to have one of those 18-300...Enjoy...

Sorry - that's the 18-270mm. I considered the 18-300, but no E-mount.

OK.. Thanks...But do not see where it actually says E-Mount...Says Sony/Minolta Alpha DT.. Maybe I am just missing something.. Would be nice to have a 18-300 for the E Mount...Looking forward to some pics..

I hope this is the end of my Sony buying. I've mentioned my Sony A6000 for when I want something small. I have the Sony 50mm and 55-210mm lenses, but I wanted something more. After a lot of reading, I discovered that no lens is perfect, but some are extremely expensive. Compromising, I ordered these two lenses.

Meike 6.5mm fisheye - $150
Tamron 18-300mm - $500

I could have paid more or less for a telephoto lens, but the 18-300 has decent reviews and covers a large range, similar to my Nikon 28-300mm. I could easily have spent thousands more to get better quality (and a shorter range), but I expect the Tamron to work for me. When they arrive, I 'll post some pictures. The 55-210mm will eventually go on ebay.
I hope this is the end of my Sony buying. I've me... (show quote)

Can't seem to find that 18-300 for E-Mount A6000.. Do you have a link??? TIA

I believe that the YN622N controller and the YN622N Trigger will work. I have an SB 910 as well but when I do OCF I only use my YN stuff. Only because I like to have all the same.
Do not like to mix while on a shoot. When I look at the flases they look the same and not have to worry why it looks any different that the other. Check http://yongnuousa.net/ lots of stuff and information there..
He also has another site where he has the Godox stuff flashgear.net He is very helpful and can help you with what you need..

If you were making a choice between these two flash triggers based on your experience which would you choose?

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I would think it depends on what flashes you want to trigger. You need to make sure that what you get works with what you have..
Personnally, I use the Yongnuo. But I also use Yongnuo flashes.
