The PEAK DESIGN "SLIDE" carries my Nikon D500 w/grip attatched to a Tamron 150-600mm G2, and it will free up your ARCA style tripod mount in seconds if you wish to use that tripod... At 77 years of age, I find no problem going miles with this combo cross carried on my chest withe the lens pointed down around my hip or behind me with NO BOUNCING around like many other designs..About $65 USD at Hunt's photo and video, B&H, and Adorama.. Get on http://www.peakdesign.com and check out their videos on the
SLING strap! IMHO..I think you'll be glad you did!!

Check out the Yongnuo radio slave system specifically for Nikon. VERY economical.., and available at B&H and Amazon! I'd call B&H and speak with an expert in the flash department. I personally own several Youngnuo devices and have had no issues in using them with my own D500 and an older Nikon 105mm AFD MICRO.

I've HAD A "HUION for 4 years now which replaced my old Wacom "BAMBOO" after 10 years of service.. A replacemen Wacom would have cost me over $100 USD . I picked up this "HUION Insperoy" H640P for less than $50 FROM Amazon as a 4x6" equivalent that I've had no issues with since time of purchase!! I use it for any detail adjustments I "may" need for images coming out of my Nikon D500/Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens which may be enlarged up to 20x30 inches or more via Adobe Photoshop CC! in conjunction with my Viewsonic VP2365 monitor!!

I have the "PEAK DESIGN" slide which is equally excellent for carrying, and well as it is for shooting when NOT using a tripod..However it can easily be fitted our to mount on an ARCA type gimbal!..The BEST strap I've ever used for my D500 married to a Tamron 150-600mm G2! It doesn't bounce around when cross chest carried while hiking, and ready in a flash when you need to hand-hold it for a shot!!

I'm getting a little "antsy" on the promised firmware upgrade for my D500 to also accept a CF express card in liu of an XQD card..Recently promised by the end of this month , and it is now December 7th!..does anyone out there have any news on this? I see they just did it for the D350! I love my D500, but I don't wish it to become an "orphaned" camera! Eddie ( PAHTSPIX)..

I now own and will keep my D500!..However were I to venture into more landscape work, I'd go and add the FF D850 hands down!!..It's a bargain at today's pricing as well!

I have used a Lowepro CS 10 for MANY YEARS on my belt which holds at lease 2 spare EN-EL15 Nikon batteries with safety plastic end caps, and at least 4 extra SD memory cards with their singular original plastic cases. Originally designed for a tiny point and shoot.. B&H has them in stock for around $8.99 each ! It's a steal IMHO!! I've never had to open a camera bag to access batteries or memory cards!!

I spent an hour trying to find this "tool" on the most recent update 2 days ago, and I couldn't find even a mention of it on this latest version of PS CC?

A correction with apologies to this Group..The Lowepro that I have is the "FLIP-SIDE 500", and NOT the "Fastpack 5" as I had mistakenly quoted! Please DO check out the Flipside 500 on Lowepro's website!! I think it will really fit your needs from what you described. Good luck!

Lowepro Fastpack 5 AW holds my Nikon D500/Tamron 150-600mm G2 with lens attached with hood reversed. Will also accommodate extra lenses, flash , memory cards, etc and has a slot for a small laptop . VERY versatile, and it fits most airline over-head bin regulations! GREAT buys can be found on eBay BTW!!

Hands down, Topaz Denoise AI is the BEST plug-in for Photoshop CC that I have ever used! That said, I do not like the fact that now in order to get the "latest" updates for Denoise AI from Topaz, , I would need to purchase a new license! I've been using the photographer's package from ADOBE since it's inception in 2014, with FREE updates for a monthly subscription of $9.99 which includes Photoshop CC and Lightroom.. Both with continuous updates at no charge whatsoever....AND..the subscription price has NOT changed $.01 since 2014!!.. I think TOPAZ can learn a lesson here as many will NOT opt for going for a renewed additional cost license!!

Flyerace.. Check out http://www.backcountrygallery.com with tutorials by Steve Perry!.. He is the BEST authority I have found on using his advice on long and heavy lenses!.. He has put out several info filled and very inexpensive E-B ooks. He's a GREAT teacher and VERY easy to follow.. BTW, I'll be 77 in February, and I mostly hand-hold my Nikon D500 Nikon with Grip and an attached Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens.. For certain situations , I use a Gimbal headed tripod. When walking around with this rig ( without a tripod), I have a "Slide" strap made by http://www.peakdesign.com which allows me to carry the camera and lens across my chest or by my side, or behind me without "bouncing around" like the Black Rapid or it's many copies. Good luck with your new lens!
