Here's a trick that might work for you. On the printers screen, find an entry to reset the printer. Your error code rings a bell with me and that is what I did and it's been fine ever since. The problem I had was the computer recognized the printer but when a print job was sent a message returned that the printer was not responding. Maybe that matches your problem. In any case, try the reset.

Well, I have one and I live in Peterborough..... but I haven't considered selling it. What price are you thinking? I see that Amazon CA has 2 used 950 and 1499.

Go into the menu settings and on the 2nd camera scroll to Picture Style. You can then choose monochrome. I won't bother to push the benefits and control of doing it in post processing.

I get similar results as the OP. I have a fairly high end Win 10 Desktop, built by one of my son's with graphics in mind.
I originally had no problems with the three Topaz programs that I purchased - Sharpen, Denoise and Gigapixel. Since they have been updated they, from time to time, do exactly the same, start to load then nothing!
I wrote to Topaz. Other than telling me I was in a queue, they didn't respond.
What I found was to shut the computer down, start it up again and immediately try to open the required Topaz application. In my case this doesn't always work, maybe 50-60% of the time it does.

It will be interesting to hear if others have found a solution to the problem/s.

Thank you for this pertinent info. The 3 programs are fairly new, only 3 weeks but all have had updates. I did the shut down with no results. Guess I'll have to wait for the next updates. It's so nice when a person actually answers the question asked and not just offer guesses.

On the win 10 laptop they work as promised but on the work station they each start to open with opening screen then poof gone. Have done 2 reboots and reinstalled all programs with no success. Anyone else run into this problem and found a fix?

My old PC died and in setting up the new one I seem to have lost my copy of the software. Try as I might I can't find a legitimate copy of the old free Google NIK Collection. Lots of unsavory sites and DxO has now discontinued offering the free version. Do any hoggers have a copy for PC they might like to share? Send me a pm and we can move forward. Many thanks in advance.

Hmm, my program is definitely not online. Resides on my computer. No funny stuff or addons. On that note it is not very configurable as far as which photo goes where but there is a redo button that I use quite often to get as close as I can to what I'm looking for. The program does a random placement with the exception of first and second priority pics. You can govern how much overlap and how much of the photos are chosen. It even has facial recognition to some degree. If you'd like a copy let me know and I'll send it in a pm.

Microsoft Research Auto Collage allows multiple photos to be overlapped soft edge results with 1 primary and 1 secondary photo to have adjustable sizing. I believe it is not in production but you may find an old copy somewhere.

Andrea Mosaic allows you to use thousands of photos to turn a single photo into a mosaic. It will flip, turn, etc. all the photos to give the best rendition to the finished product. Again, may not be easy to find.

PM me for more info.

There are adapters out there you can use but don't expect auto focus and/or aperture settings to be active with the camera. You will be in manual mode for the most part or aperture priority. Which kind of defeats the purpose of the T6i.

Well, I had the same problem but fixed it by using the QImage Ultimate program. As a print program it does wonders BUT it has a little tool that can be set up to do a scheduled test print using all colour shades every X days so the print heads remain clean. I have been using it on all my printers every 3 days for almost 3 years and have not had a problem other than watching for the roll to end. At $70 it is well worth it just for this tool itself. On my iPF 8400 each ink is running over $100 and the print heads are close to $500. I certainly can't afford to be replacing heads every few months and it cost me the loss of my previous iPF8100. It also has plug ins that work with LR and PS that replaces the print utilities in both programs. It will also auto adjust all your prints to use the least amount of paper just like a RIP program but no where near as expensive. It did take a bit to get the hang of it but there are so many YouTube videos out there to help. You will not be disappointed. No I don't work for the company, just a very satisfied customer.

Hi folks,

This is NGC2903, my first attempt at LHaRGB, however there is no Ha in the finished shot which brings me to the question. The first photo is the Ha with simple stretching and I consider it unuseable. I believe there is dirt or dust bunnies on the remote telescope and would like you to confirm my diagnosis or come up with a viable alternative. The 2nd photo is the LRGB version with some actions added most prolific of which is Ha false color but toned down. Let me know what you think.

Before you ask, I have no idea as to telescope or camera other than CCD Monochrome. This is a remote scope at one of our local astronomy clubs. Second, for those not into star points... tough noogies.

All LRGB photos also had the smudging at top and left along with a couple of rain drop smears?? 25% from bottom and centered. I did my best to eliminate them. This whole endeavor was fun even with the nasties. Just noticed the jpg Ha has very little detail so also including the tif version... if I can.
