British accents on a British golf course-how odd. Remember this is links golf, not the tailered courses of the US.Mind you. it doesn't stop your boys coming over and winning. To be honest golf does not lend itself to TV as much as other action sports but to those of us who play golf and love it is wonderful to see those super men in action.

The Mosquito could take the same bomb load as the early Flying Fortress and take it to Berlin.It was seldom armed as the German fighters had a job keeping up with it. It was a bit of a pig to land on one engine but that apart had few vices.De Havilland made them on spec as the government would not order them at first.One of the best aircraft of the war on any side.

I watched Young Speith win the Open Golf yesterday.It was quite incredible to watch this young American control the ball.He won a lot of money but he sure earned it.
