FYI, they raised the price $100 to $639. Good timing on my part for once.

I have a Sigma 885 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS MACRO HSM Zoom Lens for Canon EF-S Cameras for sale.

The lens has had a Sigma 62mm UV filter on it since purchase. The lens comes with a Sigma hood.

The lens was purchased on January 8, 2015 from B&H Photo in NYC. I will provide a receipt if desired.

I have all original packaging and documentation.

The lens is in perfect condition, no marks or wear and does not suffer from lens creep.

Your attention is directed to the Amazon link to the lens for reviews and current price point:

http://www.amazon.com/Sigma-885-18-200mm-F3-5-6-3-Fixed-Zoom/dp/B00HS3DST2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1428932449&sr=8-1&keywords=sigma+18-200+os+lens

I am selling this lens in order to convert my equipment to full frame.

I am asking $250 plus shipping. I can take Pay Pal.

Do any UHHs have experience with Greentoe? They advertise no grey market, USA products only, authorized retailers only, manufacturer's warrany, free shipping, and minimum 14 day return. They don't seem to be a dealer but rather are a buying service and claim they can save you up to 20%.

I have purchased a couple of things from Greentoe and I have saved money. You offer them a price, they shop that price around to their dealers and if your bid is accepted, always by a reputable dealer you get an email and the item is shipped. Its a good deal, from my point of view. Good Luck.

If you ordered the lens from Canon they will include the hood and caps. Several of mine also included the little gray bag to keep around the lens. Filter? The lone drawback to this lens, 77mm filters. Have fun with your new lens, it really is a great addition for most photographers. Caution: at 24mm you are being enticed to go wider angle, at 105mm the telephotos are calling. Canon's greatest marketing campaign ever.

You are right. The camera came with a hood and bag. I could have saved myself some time and expense if I had just asked. You live and learn even at 70, lol!

Edit: just checked again on the site and it is now in stock... order while you can![/quote]

I ordered one yesterday. It is supposed to come today from Chesapeake, VA. After taxes it was $563. No delivery charge. I was unable to ordered it online, I couldn't get the website to work, so I simply called customer service. That worked. I got the hood and filter from B & H. Good deal all around.

According to Canon Watch Canon has a refurbished 24-105 L lens for $530.00 plus sales tax, but no shipping charge. Seems like a good deal to me.

The true story of the Chicken Gun.

Scientists at NASA built a gun specifically to launch standard 4 pound dead chickens at the windshields of airliners, military jets and the space shuttle, all traveling at maximum velocity. The idea is to simulate the frequent incidents of collisions with airborne fowl to test the strength of the windshields.

British engineers heard about the gun and were eager to test it on the windshields of their new high speed trains. Arrangements were made, and a gun was sent to the British engineers.

WHEN THE GUN WAS FIRED, THE ENGINEERS STOOD SHOCKED AS THE CHICKEN HURLED OUT OF THE BARREL, CRASHED INTO THE SHATTERPROOF SHIELD, SMASHED IT TO SMITHEREENS, BLASTED THROUGH THE CONTROL CONSOLE, SNAPPED THE ENGINEER'S BACK-REST IN TWO, AND EMBEDDED ITSELF IN THE BACK WALL OF THE CABIN, LIKE AN ARROW SHOT FROM A BOW.

THE HORRIFIED BRITS SENT NASA THE DISASTROUS RESULTS OF THEIR EXPERIMENT, ALONG WITH THE DESIGNS OF THE WINDSHIELD AND BEGGED THE U.S SCIENTISTS FOR SUGGESTIONS.
NASA RESPONDED WITH A ONE-LINE MEMO -- "DEFROST THE CHICKEN." (TRUE STORY).

I love my pixma 100. On Amazon there is a 3rd party ink at less than half the price. I haven't used it yet. I use Canon Paper. When you register the Pixma sign up for their emails. I just got 180 sheets (9 packs) of Canon 13x19 inch glossy for $100. (buy 1 get 2 free, plus free shipping).

I used that cheap ink from Amazon and it ruined my printer and ended up costing me much more than the Canon ink would have.

I've found the best place to meet is a Starbucks. There are plenty around (depending on where you live) and you can get a cup of coffee.
