I was in the Navy also and ironically was stationed in Washington DC, lived in Lanham Md and spent time on Chesapeake bay. Loved them blue crabs.

I was in DC from 64-68 then to Newport. Worked for a VADM named Rickover.

Thanks for bringing back some great memories. I spent 2 years in Newport while in the Navy in 69-70. Beautiful spot. Great images.

Thanks for sharing your good experience. I have had wonderful experiences with Canon too. I'm lucky. I live only 45 miles from their NJ repair center. Being a CPS member help too.

Mark

You are very fortunate!

Will Canon's DPP Load on Windows 10. My DPP disc is 2 years old, will I need a new disc ?

You can download a DPP software package from Canonusa.com. The only requirement is that you supply your camera's serial number. I have DPP on a Windows 10 computer and it works perfectly. Good Luck.

I have a Canon EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM lens purchased July 8, 2015 for sale. The price is $750 plus shipping.

The lens is in absolutely perfect condition. It comes with original packaging, original documents. The lens also has a Lens Case and a Lens Hood.

The lens was purchased on July 8, 2015 from B & H. I will include the receipt and warranty card.

The box has been altered to allow for the removal of the product code.

I purchased the lens for a particular purpose; I have completed the shoot and have no further use of the lens.

The lens has had a Hoya Pro1 Digital DMC clear filter on it for protection.

The Canon “L” series are the best they produce.

I can take Pay Pal. Price does not include shipping.

I got a white box Canon 18-135mm IS STM Lens for under $300 from Amazon, absolutely zero problems. Not sure if it had a warranty card or not - I'd need to go check - but I had no problems registering it with Canon. Not sure whether that means it is legitimate US product or not for certain, but it seems OK.

Good luck

That is my experience. Surprised that Canon accepted the registration.

I received my Ebay lens today. Took it out the back and shot some pics of the back yard and the pics were perfect.

The lens was received in a white box and no paperwork. Just for drill, I went into the Canon website and registered the lens. I received the standard reply welcoming me to Canon, etc. So, unless I a very wrong (which woudln't be the first time) this lens does not appear to be a grey market lens, but rather a part of a kit. So, I am happy!

I also bought a 24-105L lens and it is fine. About half the price of an Amazon purchase.
