Just received a new to me Kenko 1.4x Teleplus Pro 300 in the mail. I tried it out here on my D7100. 300mm Nikkor ai f4.5, set at f8.0, 1/100s, and iso 1250. Depth of field seems pretty limited. Comments and advice welcome.

I love the 28-105 AF D Nikkor. It is on my D7100 80% of the time . Ends up being a 42-152 with the crop sensor.

You would be better off getting a ML-L3 remote and choosing the remote mirror lock up in the shooting menu. Press the button and mirror locks up, press it again and the shutter operates. When actuating the shutter in live view the mirror still moves.

My first 35mm camera was a Retina 2A. I bought it used in 1964 before going in the Navy. While in Rota Spain I purchased my first Nikon with a 50mm f1.4 lens and sold the Retina tor a shipmate. The Retina took excellent photos. A few years ago I came across a Retina 2A in like new condition at a flea market and purchased it. Every now and then I run a roll of B&W through it. Excellent camera.

How is he responsible for the protesters? They are obviously Bernie or Hillary supporters that are not conducting themselves properly. Bernie and Hillary need to apologize for their supporters that are causing the problem.
