Excellent set, the downloads are beautiful, 2 and 5 work wonders for me.
Good Heavens you live in a gorgeous place.

My two cents: set a spell is a decent title but for me the framing is to tight around the chair and there is no place for my feet or head. The light and angle work well for me. I don't know anything about film, processing or printing but the "look" of the shot feels comfortable to me.

Edit: I guess I was trying to say the shot would benefit with a bit more negative space (for me).

Not sure if this is finished.

I think final touches on a photo is like writing a song or a poem, they are never finished. There are just many different iterations. It's a very nice photo, has tons of "mood" to it.

Edit: retyped to try making sense.

Thank you very much Bruce ! I have been shooting wildlife for about 6 years now ! A mild obsession for me !

It takes quite a bit of knowledge and skill just to find these big boys, let alone be in position to get a shot.
I bet when he was young he took a lot of grief for being piebald from the other kids, now, not so much!

He is a monster all right. Nice job on the photo.
Judging by this shot and your avatar this isn't your first rodeo. :

Edit: retyped twice to say what I meant.

I have both and I use the monopod when either I or the subject are moving at speeds that the tripod becomes a hinderance.
If the speeds get to where the monopod hinders, I handhold.
Hope that helps.

Edit: wording changed for clarity.

I have an A-77 and a couple dozen minolta af lenses, they work together seamlessly. I have no problms with the evf and find to be very bright and in low lihgt prefer it to an optical view finder. Bif will be no problem for the camera. No experience with a spotting scope so can't say on that. Best one for me would be the A-99ii but currently out of my budget.

I see what appears to be an L bracket under most of them. That would support the weight but they still need something to keep them from tipping off the wall; Maybe mounting tape?

My WAG, L bracket screwed to backing on the wall and small bolt into camera tripod mount.

Yup, that's two nice captures. Is that a double exposure?
