Nicely exposed. I like this a lot, although I'm not sure about the link to Wuthering Heights?

Simple and effective but must have taken a lot of work to set it up and achieve such a superb result. Well done!

Thank you for the comments, so far.
I wonder how many of you have tried looking at the image using 3D glasses?
There are other 3D pics in the series which I could share.
I am always dubious that some of the effect maybe lost during the scanning/processing/resizing phases but comparison of the image on my screen with the original, it does appear to be similar.
cheers

Nice!!
But the three white spot and the bright green lamp are a distraction

I'm with Mangles on this, plus I'd like to see the piece of wood directly above her head removed to as it tend to merge with her hair.

You've come on nicely since your early pictures, so well done both of you, photographer and model!

It's quiet at present and I thought I might try a go at 3D. Nothing I've created, I hasten to add, but scanned from the German foto MAGAZIN, January 1992 edition, photographer, I think, was Heinz Baumer (apologies for missing the umlaut from the 'a' in the surname). It was in an article promoting the Vivitar Q-dos 70-210mm zoom lens.
I don't have the best 3D vision and I'm not sure if the scanning process has reduced the 3D effect so constructive comments welcomed.

Personally, I'd like to see more lighting on the models face. In each picture her left eye and face are in shadow.

perhaps, reflecting on the background to the picture, I guess the lack of lighting on the face was a deliberate action by the photographer in order to 'hide' the models identity.

It doesn't mater to me, it's a beautiful picture for DH to have in his archive.

This is an old topic (2016?) by someone who stole and used other people's pictures. The OP has not posted for years and is probably no longer a member. It needs to be deleted before other people comment on it

This seems to imply (I'm not an Olympus man) that you were using spot metering as opposed to average weighting and your white balance was set to manual?
Perhaps this is more a case of 'learning' your camera, as you said it's early days with it. Persevere and you'll get there!

Looks like normal lighting/results for an English autumn day to me. Perhaps you expect the 'colours to pop', in which case you'd have to tweak them in PhotoShop or equivalent...
Sad day.

Proof that the simplest images can be the best, although obviously not simple for the dancer or the photographer, both masters of their own art.
