WOW, somebody pinch me please. I just found out that I have been accepted as a contributing photographer by Getty Images. Is anyone else on this site also a contributor? I'd love to hear about your experience and any tips you can pass along. PM me please if you'd like to chat about it. Cheers, Dick

One of my goals this year is to learn how to turn my photographs into digital art. This is my first serious attempt at making a composite from 8 different images taken in and around the Channel Islands Harbor. What do you guys think? Constructive criticism welcomed. Thanks, Dick

Wow! I really like it. We had cloudiness move in here before moonrise.

Too bad Davey, it was quite a sight. We had rain and clouds for many days, so you can imagine my delight when it turned out to be a clear night. I'm pretty happy with this shot. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks. No, I shot this in a well lit park, but I did play with the exposure in PS.

I shot this the other night at the Channel Islands Harbor in SoCal. I used a Nikon D850, a Nikkor 200-500mm lens @ 500mm, ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/100th. I did some manipulation of the exposure and the moon in post production. Thoughts and CC?

Tufted Titmice. I find taking small birds in flight an irresistible challenge! My keep discard is about 1 in 250 of fair shots and 1in 500 a keeper. one of the ways I have a modicum of success is to try to determine where the bird is going, then try to focus a spot where the bird will fly into the predetermined focused spot. I would love to hear from others who also try to take small BIF. Thanks to all ahead of time!

WOW!

I love both photos, but the end result is amazing. It is fun to play with PhotoShop. When one learns how to manipulate a photo, the options are endless. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful result. Waiting for you to have a few more rainy days.

I'm so encouraged by all the positive feedback I've received from this attempt that I'll probably keep going on the idea of enhancing photographs I was previously happy with. But not very many rainy days in SoCal

I like both, in 2 the eyes seem to glow.

Thanks Karin, That was my goal. It was actually surprisingly easy to achieve. I added some vibrance and saturation to the eyes and then just masked them and turned up the brightness. I'm very happy with the results!

Thanks. That was my goal, so it's reassuring to hear that I achieved some modicum of success with my PP.
