What I find so very interesting is that photography is such a subjective art form. Multiple viewers can have completely different views/opinions of the same image in so many ways. Just my 2¢

I totally agree with you.

Why choose? They are two completely different stories and viewer impact from one shutter press. Each stands on it's own.

My intention is not to choose one over the other, just interested in what others prefer...out of curiosity :)

Regarding color space, see if this quote from another topic applies to yours:

Embedded color profile: “(unrecognized embedded color profile 'ProPhoto RGB')”
Some popular web browsers ignore embedded color profiles, meaning users of those browsers see the wrong colors for this image. Images for the web are most widely viewable when in the sRGB color space and with an embedded color profile. Check out the "Save As" dialogue box and see if sRGB is checked.

It does help :)
Thanks Linda

Thanks for all the replies. I prefer the cropped for the same reason as Longshadow mentioned.
CHG - I am still learning the post processing and will definitely go back and revisit. Thanks

Ahh for me I like both. The cropped for portrait sake and the original to tell a story.

Thanks
