This seems like something I could use in as much as I often photograph alone. My question is, how do you carry this device? Have you fastened straps so that it can be carried on the back or onto your camera bag?

I used the K20 for 15 years. And was tremendously pleased with the colors and quality it provided. I upgraded only to get more megapixels and then finally to the full frame K1. You will not go wrong with any Pentax camera, but if you are into action photography, they focus much more slowly then do other camera brands.
I do not shoot Canon but hold them in the highest of respect. I went through many of their cameras in my film days and still use my T 90 for black and white work. That camera formed the basis for all modern Canon professional-grade cameras made today.
These floods pale compared to the ones in Northwestern Iran at present. I watched hundreds of cars being literally swept and tumbled by the force of the flash floods on the Main Street of a traditional Old Town.
