After struggling to get it to work right and even calling the company for guidance, I just gave up on it. The directions were different from what I got on the phone and neither yielded good results. I would save my money.

I'd take the 300 and the SX60. The 300 will likely be way too short and the SX60 has a wonderful zoom but iffy autofocus. Practice in your yard with the SX60 will help you with flying bird situations. Have fun!

Useful to know. Thanks!

So glad you got your problem fixed! Just so you know (for future issues) the FB group "Lightroom Help Group -- Intermediate and Advanced" is a tremendous resource for LR info and help. I've used them many times and they never fail to help.

No need to resize. Just crop to the desired aspect ratio and you are done. I prefer uncompressed TIFF that avoids loss of data when making a JPG. The important thing is to start with a large, preferably raw, file.

Let me repeat what someone else said: click off auto-correct. Costco does a great job and I have no need to go elsewhere.

Yes, click off auto-correct. I have also noticed their smaller prints come out very, very sharp so I don't worry much about my sharpening in post.

There is so much water in the Smokies - waterfalls and gorgeous creeks and streams. Take a polarizing filter and tripod. I have shot a lot there with the 18-140 and it was just fine.

I've had great results with Costco. Kuz Its Super Samples, and the $1.50 Jumbo hot dog and drink, makes my drive to Costco worthwhile.

Our Costco is 45 miles away and I have them deliver to my house. I have been pleased with both small prints and large canvasses. You just cannot beat their prices.

Make sure you are on the US edition of the page. There is a selection button at the top, often with a US or British flag to indicate which edition you're visiting.

But even if the price is quoted in British Pounds (or euros for that matter) your credit card company will usually convert the sale to dollars (albeit at a not very favorable rate to you.)

This link is in USD.

This too for the print edition.

Thanks so much! BTW, I spent a week on MDI this past September and it is truly a cool place! Took a ton of awesome pics.

Do these UK ones ship to the US? Also, when I checked the web site for Outdoor Photography, the prices were not in dollars, so how would you pay?

Thank you Deanie1113 for asking the question I like this answer from Topaz: "If you own our Classic Plug-in DeNoise or our Studio Pro Adjustment AI Clear, we have given you access to DeNoise AI. All that you have to do is download and install DeNoise AI, login, and it's all yours! "

Fantastic -- thank you!

I have the free version of Flikr. It's incredibly simple and my pics are organized and look great.

If you purchased CLEAR a few months ago, you should get free upgrade to AI DeNoise. (I did.) In the DeNoise product you can choose either DeNoise or Clear. Check your account with Topaz.

Look for free upgrades in the FAQs.

You can continue to use your copy of Clear, just don't uninstall it. Going to DeNoise does not replace your copy. There will be no further upgrades to the AI Clear product. And maybe no support.

TOPAZ has been real good with free upgrades. I purchased products years ago, and I'm getting the latest upgrades for no charge if there is a software path.

Thank you so much for that helpful response. Appreciate your time.

I purchased Topaz AI Clear several months ago for around $60. It does a fantastic job with my noisy images. But I am a bit confused, because my understanding is that there is another program now that includes sharpening and cleaning up noise. Am I right? Not sure what it is called, but do I need this if I am happy with AI Clear? Is AI Clear outdated and the new program significantly better? Thank you.

Unless you are adjusting the print file using Costco’s profiles loaded into PS when you edit AND you have calibrated your monitor you will continue to be “shooting in the dark” to get back images that are what you expect. Look at the steps I outlined earlier. It works.

Can you load Costco's profiles into LR also?

I sent back the D750; ridiculously heavy for lil old me. I use the Z6 with the 24-70 it comes with for portraits, events, and landscapes and have never been happier.

After "firing" no less than 5 labs, I decided to go with Costco. I'm completely happy. Easy online ordering (Don't like ROES), super-cheap, fast delivery to my house, and the prints look great. For my purposes (I like to print a LOT for my personal use) Costco fills the bill. For clients, I use Pixieset and fulfill through Millers.
